  • I think the idea of keeping a diary is a great but I am still horrified that it is taking so long to sort this out.

I honestly don't know how you manage but you do and all credit to you for doing so and raising such lovely children.

    Take care.

It basically is just waiting I think TF, nothing it being looked at etc now until the appeal. It will be sorted eventually.

EH I would use an ambulance if needed. But I just don't feel it's needed a lot of the time. However every A&E visit produces a new report and things

Just a thought - I may have remembered wrongly but wasn't one of the reasons for you giving up your job to do with DD? Of course this is historic in a way but it would be next to impossible for you to spend a day at work after half a night in A&E.

And another thought: I heard someone say today that they thought they might be getting a hayfever-type reaction and I've wondered the same about myself. There aren't exactly lots of flowers out thought the crocuses are trying to change that. I just wondered if there might be an allergen that's making her symptoms worse?

Hugs to you and the children and I hope littlest soon picks up again and you can all sleep tonight.

It was Cherry, it still makes me feel bad like I should be working though :o

I think it could be allergy related, although any change in weather etc seems to make her worse anyway.

Thank you I hope she sleeps because I'm definitely running on empty :o and I need to do the birthday cake etc tomorrow!

Having a total disaster with W!lko - ordered some things for the girls room for DD's birthday a couple of weeks ago - I think I posted on here.

Anyway delivery was late - then delayed again - now they've no idea where it is! Apparently they will ring me back tomorrow and update me. Told them if it isn't being delivered tomorrow I want a refund  It's a little thing in the grand scheme of things but it's made me so annoyed tonight :o

Smalls are in bed - good job because I have zero patience :o I'm going to take my horrid mood out on my cleaning

  • Some tree pollens come out early - if you think there is a pattern it might be worth a look. Eg https://www.worcester.ac.uk/about/academic-schools/school-of-science-and-the-environment/science-and-the-environment-research/national-pollen-and-aerobiology-research-unit/pollen-calendar.aspx

Re making your case on DD2 health spending, I would also suggest you summarise the diary spends to help get the point across to an assessor quickly. Eg a timeline or calendar showing how often she has been ill in the past year or six months (this would help show how many days she needs additional care and therefore how many of your potential working days are disrupted) and a summary by month or week showing how much was spent on her needs in each period. It's a lot easier for someone to read down a summary table and go 'oh, so currently it is X in most months' than to go through the data, and then if they want the details they can read the rest.

Grrr to the wandering delivery, hope it turns up.

  • Sorry you’ve had another hospital trip. Hope all is ok now and you can enjoy the birthday weekend. Glad someone has suggested using a diary for DLA/PIP, I did the same for DH Xx

That's really irritating about the order especially as it's things for DD's birthday. I've ordered quite a bit from them in the past but always have it delivered to store and it's been a good service. I hope they get their act together and manage to find and then deliver the things for you. It's just something else to think about and sort out thought isn't it.

Fingers crossed for a good night for you all tonight. Last day tomorrow and then plenty of lie-ins over half term. Or at the very least you won't have to be up and dressed as early. xx

You are, you just aren't being paid for what must be a lot more than full-time hours.

I'm not surprised you're running on empty, you must be exhausted. I hope the fact you're off line just now means you can get some rest.

  • Thank you

Definitely not an early one

With all this going on. Next week I've decided I'm buying two pieces of medical equipment. Simply to make my life easier. Especially getting out and about etc and basically just to regain some sanity. I can't justify it anymore. It's kind of a want because I have something that does the job but right now anything that just makes simple tasks easier is a win.

Now I won't starve us for it or sit in the dark so please don't about at me :o

    Anyway confession over

I've done my cleaning and everything's ready for tomorrow. Half term next week :T

Now I'm going to make toast and coffee and watch some heartland I think

Thank you again for all the support and replies. I really do appreciate it

  • And now I'm declared my confessions I'm back to being positive

I've moaned enough :rotfl: I have lots more to be grateful for than I do to moan for :)
