Only over until Monday Beanie
Soon be over for another while though fingers crossed.
We have had a pretty lazy afternoon, I still feel like I could get back in bed for a good nights sleep
:rotfl:
We have a birthday party to go to though and there's one tomorrow - I feel really bad saying I can't be bothered going
Tonight's just messes with our or my routine and tomorrow is with all the school mum's I don't speak too
Smalls have made birthday cards though and are aware they have been invited. I guess after moaning youngest was the only one left out of last weekends school party I have to make the effort to go. “Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
We went to the party but left early
I didn't want to 'pay' for the other two to join in and DD (who was invited) said she wouldn't go back to that place again. It was really expensive too! I took drinks for the smalls in my bag
Anyway it's done.
Home and dinner is on (late )
Have straightened the toys up and got some ideas for birthdays. Will get on sorting that and then it's another worry of my mind :A They are so excited
Youngest wakes every morning asking how long until she is 5 :rotfl:
Youngest's results are better but not good enough for the other appointment to go ahead. I think she has the cold though. She's been coughing quite a bit today and saying her throat is sore. So hoping this is why the results aren't the best rather than her condition being worse overall.
Going to get on with the cleaning soon but I made the mistake of making a hotwater bottle when making my cuppa and now I've sat down :rotfl:

Glad you made today's medical appointment and to the party, even if only for a short time. I hope you have a relaxing evening and don't do too much cleaning! Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Birthday ideas at the front of my mind - takes it off youngest appointments and tests. So I'm thinking - I will paint the girls room but need to do some filling of holes first (this was my old room that hasn't yet been touched since I moved here 7 years ago so still plaster walls
) Then...
DD1- her birthday first - A blanket/pillow, A lamp, Something to store/organise her pens/pencils and a cushion to make her 'desk' chair more 'her'. I'm also in the middle of making her a desk which will be done for her birthday.
DS - He's next - He of course has his residential trip too. - An outfit, A lamp and a blanket & pillow - maybe curtains if it fits in the budget.
DD2 - Some sort of toy, an outfit and blanket & pillow (girls share a room so she will benefit from the lamp DD1 receives)
I have my list for the bits needed for the cakes. Will go and get those this week. It also includes corn and a bag of sweets. We will have movie nights on their birthdays and a 'picnic' on the living room floor.
Once all the smalls are sorted I am going to save for a bed and to paint my own room. Then bedding/curtains. This will be a 'late birthday' gift to myself. Swapping rooms with the girls I still have no regrets over.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Good to hear DD2's results are better, fingers crossed her cough and cold don't get worse.
I'd find 2 parties in a weekend pretty heavy going myself but I suppose it was a change of scene. Which DC is going to the party tomorrow and is it local? Could you leave them there or don't you like doing that. I was always happy either way if parents stayed or left although it probably depends on where the party is. xx0 -
It's quite local tea, it asks parent's to stay but you do get a free coffee for staying :rotfl:
