Ooh I like a survey, PM away :rotfl: I'm not surprised she doesn't like having blood taken, bless her. I hate it and don't even think sweets would help :o
  • Hi Wannabe,

It's freezing! Throw whatever money you have spare at the heating and don't worry about turning the thermostat up a bit if necessary until it changes as it's not worth getting cold and The Smalls getting ill. x

Other than that, you sound busy. The trek to that hospital you mentioned must be pretty immense as it's far enough for me and I live nearer to it than you do!

Well done on the free M&S coffee. Sometimes, it's the little things! ;)

  • I think I'd get lost on the bus Cumbria :o and I'm worried I'd be late.

It does make it more expensive though. The trains £5.70 return and youngest is still free until her Birthday

See how long you can make 3 last for! ;)

Your comment about being 3 made me laugh PB. Mum and Dad used to do it with my little brother and we were always warned not to correct them. :D

WB I've PM'd you. I'm turning the laptop off now though so will catch up with you tomorrow. xx

I've taken my little guy on the train to my work a few times in the summer holidays and each time I ask the conductor whether I pay for a five year old and each time they say not to bother and just charge for me. I think they feel guilty charging for smaller kids! May just be my area but I'll take it as long as it comes. It costs me £7.20 per day to get into the city which is a total rip off so I don't mind clawing something back this way!

Hope you can avoid the train expense!

And I second keeping the thermostat up as high as you can afford this week. Its brutally cold. Once it starts to defrost next week you can knock it back down.

Thank you I think it will be delayed - I don't think tomorrows results will be good enough either :o She sounds quite wheezy this morning. She had a really disturbed night with the extra meds too. Feel sorry for her teacher today :o :rotfl:

Sorry Tea I've replied, I'd fell asleep - phone in hand :rotfl:

Off on the school run and will be back with money updates and things to do (don't get too excited :o)

It really is Milann, the new covering of snow in the night has made it even worse!

This needs to cover - Travel to hospital tomorrow. Travel back to hospital maybe Monday? Groceries - around £20 (need washing powder and toiletries)

Paid all the budgeted stuff above
Meal planned - boring :o Pretty much identical to other weeks so won't post again.

This week I need to make myself a birthday cake for the smalls.
I need to get on with deciding on something for DD's birthday. Any ideas for a 'to be' 8 year old that wants a 'surprise' welcome! I also need a new set of storage drawers for the girls.. DD fell out of bed last night and while it was a good set of storage drawers - it isn't built for flying near 8 year olds

It's cold. Oh so cold. Hot water bottle and sofa is calling me.

Anything else I need to do this week? I have no idea :o As you can see I've been on the ball at keeping track :o (Not at all!)

I have loads more I wanted to say but this is long enough :o I still have other things to update as well but now I need to go and sort the disagreement with the housing - and make coffee :p

    Happy Friday

Hope DD2 doesn't get any worse. Sounds like you've got a busy few days ahead of you with appointments etc so try and take it easy before the onslaught of it all.

I thought the housing had all been sorted - arguing with them is the last thing you need to be doing. :(

What sort of things does DD like? Doll's, books, games, crafts, jewellery - something like a watch and necklace with a theme that's 'in' or a secret diary. Does she like being outside? Scooter? Was the gift you were thinking about yesterday for her or DD2?
