Housing are a nightmare - HATE my account manager/court officer
Can't wait to be handed back to the normal place.
The gift yesterday was for DD2 although I'm sure both would play with it.
DD1 is very crafty, likes reading and making things etc. I'm moving furniture and things around to make her a 'desk' so thinking maybe a lamp and bits to put on it to make it more desk like?

That's a good idea. DD loves all the little box drawer things you can buy to put bits in, like paperclips, rubbers etc. and there's some lovely stationery out there. Have you seen the decorate your own jewellery box in Wilko. That looks nice, something to make and something to keep. x0

I don’t know if you have a hobbycraft near you? But online they have quite a few good offers of you search “paint your own” or “decorate your own” and also probably normal craft stuff. Delivery is £4.50 unless there’s one near you to collect from but if there was anything on offer for both dd’s then it might not be quite as painful? I’ve bought the paint your own photo frames, jewellery boxes and sun catchers before for gifts for kids friends (my dd is 3 so she might get one next birthday...)0

Just a random idea that might not work so sorry if not!! Does dd1 like sewing type crafts? Is there any way of her customising a top? Buy one for her to decorate and either buy bits of cheap ribbon/beads/sequins/something else if she’s not a “girly girl” (I’m running out of ideas) or another top/sparkly item (could even be an adults one) that she can cut up and decorate the first one with?
Now I’ve written it it sounds very complicated... 0 -
Thank you I will look at hobby craft, I'm not sure about sewing it's something I'm really rubbish at
but its a good idea DD would probably enjoy so thank you.

Bank Balance - £18.82
This needs to cover - Travel to hospital tomorrow. Travel back to hospital maybe Monday?
Food shop done £23.85 - Will still need more Bread in the week too!
It's creeping up as we run out of things in the cupboards/freezer.
Need to go to Mr Sains to get some cake stuff for the smalls - maybe if I go next week I can get the bread with that and use the gift card  Will see if I can fit that in. That's a better idea.
Smalls have some card making to finish this weekend and birthday banners etc. Will fit it in around the appointments. Not looking forward to the early start tomorrow.

Have you got any pound shops near you? I regularly buy bits in there for DGDs as they love craft. Poundland in particular pretty goodCarolbee0

Is it the local hospital tomorrow and possibly Monday? Out of interest how much is a child's fare on the bus now. I've not been on a bus for years but I do remember at secondary school I used to buy a clipper card. x0

Half the price of an adult ticket Tea. I use the app for mine saving 20p so £4.80 for me and £2.50 for the older two smalls for a day saver. Youngest is free. Local hospital this week until her results are good enough for the other stuff at the children's. We can walk to the local one, it's only 20 mins walk and probably easier than the bus :rotfl:
Carolbee I think we have pound stores in the big town still. I will have a look thank you
Thank you Jwil
