Blimey, that's a bit of a trek isn't it. Do you get a train from Oxford Rd to the hospital as well or walk. Must take you a couple of hours by the time you've waited for the bus/train to arrive. :o

I usually get a taxi from the station but it's only about a 25-30 minute walk I think from the station.

It takes ALL day. Even worse if you use the transport they provide

I did wonder about hospital transport because that would save you the travel cost as well. But if you're at their mercy with timings I don't suppose that's much good if you've got to get back for the DC's.

Hope they've all had a good day at school. Forgot to ask yesterday if you managed to get the problem sorted out regarding DD and if she's OK. xx

Sort of sorted Tea, I'm not sure if DD is making it out bigger than it is :o I feel bad for doubting her and I have spoken to school again and they are keeping an eye on it.

I posted it yesterday Beanie, needed to wait for some copies of evidence and things. Sent the form back with my reasons why etc and more copies of letters from all different places.

Well I didn't get in town. Had to take youngest for bloods and things, took ages to get everything sorted and home. Smalls had a quick dinner, bath and are just in bed.

I'm having coffee after all that before doing the floors, think I'll crash on the sofa soon. I'm exhausted.

It probably is a big deal to DD whatever it is, but I think speaking to her teacher is wise. I always try to get both sides of the story first, then I can decide whether I really need to get my BIG voice out or not

Shame you didn't get into town but at least you managed to get DD sorted out. Hope the consultant was as happy with things as he could be over the phone.

Don't blame you for getting on the sofa, another busy day ahead of you tomorrow. Hope it all goes well. xx

You have a busy day tomorrow, am glad to hear you get a taxi to the hospital from the station, it's quite a walk with a youngster in tow.
I guess the train is the quickest way though , the bus would take a while into the big town and then another along the big road to the hospital.

Didn't expect to be going for bloods and xrays with youngest  Luckily they let me go to the local hospital

I think I'd get lost on the bus Cumbria :o and I'm worried I'd be late.

It does make it more expensive though. The trains £5.70 return and youngest is still free until her Birthday
