They know my details and history Tea I think if it was life/death they'd have been in touch sooner. I hope so anyway!
As you say their loss not the smalls. I did years of arguing and 'forcing' them to see the smalls. Me doing all the leg work. I gave up chasing when youngest was first really unwell at 3 weeks old and half of them haven't ever seen her! It does annoy me at times but I try to just think it's not worth it. The smalls wouldn't benefit from me forcing someone to have a relationship with them if it isn't wanted.

Morning
We all wobble every now and then. Don't feel embarrassed about posting about it on here.
Totally agree, if they don't want a relationship with the children of their own accord, there doesn't seem much point forcing the issue. They could at least acknowledge them on their birthdays and at Christmas though. They're just children and sending a card and gift wouldn't kill them. Sounds like whatever has gone in the past they're not prepared to move on with you either
Hope the meeting with Crisis is of some help. Have a good day. xx0 -
Morning,
Smalls in school and an issue dealt with I hope! Or I will be a very cross mummy at the school pick up
I've poured the kettle over my hand this morning  because that's the clever thing to do!
Tea there isn't really an issue with the out-laws as such. They don't even see their own children/brothers/sisters etc. None of them ever see each other really so I shouldn't have expected different
It would be nice if the smalls had 'family' though.
Anyway today's a new day and I feel a lot brighter today

Morning Wannabe,
Glad you're feeling a bit brighter today.
Hope your hand isn't too sore, make sure you put plenty of cold water on it.
Hope that the issue is sorted and that cross mummy isn't a cross mummy.
Have a lovely day xx0 -
Ouch to the hot water! Re the in-laws, I suppose you could say they're treating you like one of the family then
Hope the school issue gets resolved and glad to hear you're feeling better. x 0 -
I feel like I'm the mum constantly cross at the school office

This is the back end of last years problems though and DD1 came home devastated again last night. Not putting up with it
If school don't sort it today I'm going to speak to the boys parents - I know it doesn't fall within the playground politics but I'm past being the nice guy now

Hope the appointment goes ok today. Hope the school issue gets sorted soon.
My DS went as Hulk to the last world book day. It was his choice as he has a lot of superhero stories with the various characters in there. They also have storybooks with the Disney characters in there. I think it's wrong to get sniffy about people going to school in these costumes. All that matters is that children are reading and enjoying what they are reading. I do love some of the other ideas though and I am a huge Enid Blyton fan!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
