Wannabe, you're going to be up to your neck in brilliant ideas after posting about Book Day
Another Enid Blyton fan here as well Hillwalker. I spent many hours in my bedroom reading and Enid was always the first request for birthdays and Christmas.
The Stick Man costume sounds brilliant HG. It does only take a bit of thought to get something together fairly cheaply, although a lot of parents don't have much time to think these days.x

Thank you - It will definitely be something from what we have at home.
Smalls are home from school and school clubs, fed and bathed. They are playing a game now before bedtime.
Been budget playing all afternoon still not decided on what's best.
DD wants an outfit for her birthday and for me to take her for a coffee (well hot chocolate but she still calls it a coffee)

I think this is the best I can come up with. I can't get the food bit down any less no matter how much I try and switch it round.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
I think that you do amazingly well on the food front

I think your food budget is amazing. I could do with learning a few lessons from you in that department.
Loving all the book day talk. Last year DS went as the gamekeeper from Danny the Champion of the World. Jeans, green wellies, a green/camouflage waterproof, his dads flat cap and a cowboy rifle. Everything we had at home.
I used to love Enid Blyton as a child and read The Faraway Tree to DS last year but found it so badly written I struggled to read it and haven't attempted the other 2 in the box set. DS enjoyed it though.Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%

What a sweet birthday request from DD.
I think you've done well dividing up the £44 up as best as you can considering what you've got coming up with trips and birthdays etc. xx

It's hard to stick to budget and still make it not the same everyday. Getting harder the more we run down what's already in. I'll need washing powder again soon and things
Still playing with it though seeing if I can make it better.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Where are you trying to make it better WB. More food money or more towards the birthdays/travel/clothes/school days etc. x0

How much breathing space do you have between the birthdays? I know they are close together, but are they so close you have no money coming through in between them? XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
