Hope your appointment goes well today Wannabe, and that the school situation is resolved by pick up time.
JWil, I agree with you. The only costumes I'm judgy about are the ones that are not suitable for children (like the child sent to school dressed as Christian Grey - complete with handcuffs and zip ties. Just no!)0 -

My take on the "book day" thing is that if the theme is a "character from a book the child has read" then it should be just that, not a character from a film that a child has seen but not read the book it came from. I seem to recall it was originally started to improve children's engagement with books, and realistically if parents just go and buy the latest Disney Princess costume from Asda then it's not really doing that, is it! I never had my nose out of a book when I was small - and Enid Blyton was a firm favourite for sure! Also loved all the pony books by the Pullein-Thompson sisters, I think it was? E Nesbit also, and of course Alice - never trust anyone who doesn't know their Alice! :rotfl:
well done on settling on going to the appointment WF - and please never feel embarrassed about sharing something like that wobble on here, not least as if you do, someone else who is ALSO having a wobbly day might gain the confidence through seeing you being brave and talking about it to post theirs as well, and get interaction/feedback that makes all the difference.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Appointment done, walked there but had to get the bus back. It's snowing and so cold! and I don't have a coat so I wasn't brave enough to walk the 40 minutes home
Have some cleaning to get done now before school run but having a cuppa to warm up first.

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Lovely WF why on EARTH do you have no coat! PLEASE please for one week reduce the amount OVER the agreed minimum that you are paying to the rent arrears, get yourself round the charity shops, and get yourself one - you wouldn't send the smalls out without coats at this time of year would you, yet I bet they are generally a lot more able to keep themselves warm when outside than you are! You'll be able to catch up on the rent arrears payment easily again in the future but you can't be without something warm this time of year when you have school runs, appointments etc that mean you HAVE to go out several times most days! :kisses3:🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I dont think WB overpays the agreed amount on the rent arrears.
