Hurrah for rent sorting and CC closing! :T

Also, getting input from people who can do things better than you is entirely sensible - in other places it's known as 'strategic management skills' :D

Bit cheeky of A5da to charge you the extra for replacing a faulty product, I agree they should really have just done the exchange for you but anyway, hurrah for having it sorted.

    Hope you are relaxing now

Thanks all, sorry been keeping myself busy cleaning and things :o

Smalls are all in bed sleeping.

Got to go to town tomorrow so got my things ready.

    Bank balance this morning £16.42
    -£2 in Asda

    Now £14.42

Need to top my phone up tomorrow was trying to wait but I have phone calls to make so can't. Plus need a loaf of bread. Will walk to save bus fare so shouldn't be any other spends.

Need to sit and work birthday's out and cakes and things. Then need to meal plan/shopping list to squeeze some savings from the shopping budget to fit the birthday's in. That's tomorrows plan not tonight. I've took my painkillers, made my hot water bottle and going to get on the sofa and watch some TV.

Thanks again for all the replies.

You'll all have probably seen the news about the local girl and her 2 children who have died yesterday.

Reading the comments on social media and the comments from people out and around have disgusted me today. Like really knocked me. I know everyone is away of the stigma around mental health. However I just can't believe some of the things I'm reading or hearing. Even by people I have spoken/still speak too. It's made me think how I have to be cautious of what gets said about 'problems' I've been on that edge more than once and I still feel really unsettled with 'being safe' from myself. I try to keep as much of the 'deeper' MH stuff away from here after last time. But when will there be more help for those in her position. This is one of several incidents over the last few weeks local to here and the majority of comments about it are all bad.

I don't know the point of this post :o but it's just been going round and round in my head and it probably makes no sense so I'll delete it again :o

No, you dont need to delete it.
People need to speak about & be more aware of mental health issues.
They are as important than physical health issues xx

I had not realised they were close to you :( I think MH was something people used to be embarrased about and tried to hide if it was in the family, so it is going to take a long time for the old "stigma" to go and for it to be thought of as a health issue, the same as a physical ailment. If people stop talking about it then there will be even less understanding of it, so it better for people to say something, so that even if we do not totally understand, at least we can learn more until eventually the knowledge can spread and be better understood just as a broken arm would be.
Congratulations on getting rid of the card, and for getting the agreement for the rent, seeing your tenacity at paying things down I will not be suprised if you clear it a month early as a christmas bonus :)

I really hope to clear it before Xmas SusieT :o I've already been sat playing with budgets. Need to sort the birthdays first though. I was really relying on the DLA being sorted :o I know I shouldn't have been.

MH I don't know, my rants probably make no sense. Most people still don't understand I don't think. I've been at rock bottom. Real rock bottom and only someone from here texting at the time snapped me out of it and I went and got help but even when you're asking (begging) for help it's not always available at the right time and often too late. I've begged my GP for help recently and it's 'out of his field' given a prescription and told to wait for a MH team to contact me with an appointment. I'm not sure how that can be helped. It just makes me sad it's so common now and still seems to be so understood

This is true & this why everyone has to help to put it out there.

I am not ashamed to say I have had mental health problems~~anxiety, depression & feeling suicidal. x
