  • Sure this has been mentioned and I have missed it, but was wondering whether you have any supportive help from family / friends ? Even if its just help with kids etc?

Not really LMW and no one ever has the smalls only me and school. I don't have friends either :o I speak to some of the neighbours but not 'friends' just morning/evening. One of the neighbours has a DD in my sons class and at Xmas come round to help with some of the decorations etc but we still don't really speak unless we see each other on the school run.

    Edited to add

I am not a real weirdo. I don't really have friends as I cut myself off. For quite a long time I never left the house (at all) so I let the friends I did have down a lot, missed a lot of important occasions and get togethers and as expected they stopped making the effort totally my own fault.

Family has had a huge wedge in the middle for many years. My Dad died when eldest DS was a newborn and at that point I'd been left home for over 5 years (left far too young :o). I have always been one to push everyone away and not want anyone to feel I need them. There's loads more with family but it's boring. But yeah any future contact will be at arms distance and they don't look after my smalls ever. It makes life easier and less stressful
