Well I guess if cleaning makes you feel happy that's OK, but I'd take some convincing it was the thing for me. :rotfl:
You do so much crafting with the children and I know you like making memories with them, would working on a scrapbook for each of them appeal to you. I started one when DD was little and now she's at Uni wish I'd kept it up. Just trying to think of something that you could get caught up in and let other worries fade away for a bit.
Birthday parties are one thing I don't miss about primary school. I can understand why some teachers refuse to give out invitations any more.
You've got growing children and one of them is a boy, trust me food consumption is only going to get worse

I wish I loved cleaning! And I hear you with the food. Roo at 7 years old, eats more than I do!0

Take care of you. No sleep and no food can’t be helping your low mood. Big hugs XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I think that the time of year does not help.
I feel very unsettled too
Remember you do have a LOT on your plate.
You are a lone parent to 3 littlies & do wonderfully well & deal with a lot of things on a day to day basis that are difficult with no or very little support.
I salute you. You are a total star. xx
Absolutley agree with Beanie xx0 -

Smalls in bed. Have reassured youngest we will do something 'better' than the party
:rotfl: I will put a 'party' on at home and we can play games and have dinner in the living room like a picnic. Will keep her pleased.
Have done the ironing and things and now on the sofa with a hot water bottle. It feels so much colder today! Have double checked I have everything I need for tomorrow and packed the smalls school bags and lunches.
DS is performing with his instrument on Tuesday so I will need to go and watch that (another thing to work myself up over
) In other news DD1 really wanted swimming lessons for her birthday but I told her we would wait until nearer the end of the year when she has finished swimming with school (and hopefully the financials are better I didn't tell her that though) Anyway she has been chosen by school to attend extra swimming lessons out side of school with the same instructor as the school lessons. It's much smaller classes (6 kids each session) in a smaller setting. I'm not sure how many lessons/when they are etc yet but she will be over the moon when it's presented to her in the celebration assembly at school tomorrow. I need to keep it a secret till then
I just received the text inviting me to go and see it being awarded to her.

I'm so proud of her, she has tried so hard. She takes after me in worrying about things and that she won't do well/can't do something. I thought she hadn't been chosen as I hadn't heard anything.
Thank you fingers crossed tomorrow goes well
