So productive day although still not really any further forward in anything important
Meeting went well. DLA are still waiting for the things from consultant so I've now arranged to collect a copy myself and send them. I will collect them Monday when they are ready and send first class. If I have any problems they are aware I have spoken to the MP and have her help should it be needed.
While in town I went to drop youngests birth certificate into housing so they have proof I have a nearly 5 year old living with me *rolls eyes*
I also went for coffee
It was past lunch time and I just needed 5 minutes. Shouldn't have really spent but I won't spend anything else now. Then went food shopping in Aldi because I was near it and spent £16.95  Stuck to the list so annoyed I went over budget
So I definitely won't be food shopping again this week.
Rushed home, put the shopping away and straight back out to school. DD was over the moon but has been a terror since coming home winding the other two up! Youngest fell over which started the tears and I think all 3 of them are tired after a busy week at school. So they are eating now then they can have a bath and watch a movie in bed early.

We were terrible for winding each other up when we were little. It's all character building as long as they can all give as good as they get

Your food budget is tight so I really don't think you should berate yourself for going £1.95 over - not to the extent where you can't treat yourself to a coffee anyway.
Bet housing would know if somebody was living there who they could get money out of! Do you think when they have a record of DD2 it could make a difference to any benefits you get in a positive way? x0 -
I don't think so Teafor2 and I'm sure I've taken her birth certificate before. Like why wouldn't they have asked when we where at court etc over the arrears and she was the main reason the arrears built up. Well not her but her being poorly. It's strange they have asked for it now.

I think it’s amazing that you ‘only’ spent £16.95, so don’t beat yourself up over it.
My 2 had a massive argument within 5 minutes of getting home from their respective schools. Welcome to the weekend  XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I think because on the needed list where some toiletries and washing powder it pushed it up more than I'd like but we couldn't manage without.
I feel like I could fall asleep sat up and my heads sore. I've took some painkillers and the smalls are getting in the bath. Bet I still don't get to sleep any earlier
Hope you've all had a good day and thank you for all your replies

Toiletries and washing powder always push up my spend too, but as you say you've got to have them.
I hope you manage to get a good night's sleep tonight. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Smalls are all in bed
Have some cleaning I want to get done and the uniform is drying so I can get it ironed. Have ticked quite a lot of my list today so going to add some more things. I really hope it's dry tomorrow as I want to clean outside and the doors/windows.

WF glad you got to see the MP I hope she turns up trumps for you . No way would I berate yourself for spending £16.95 on a shop. It's about what I usually spend but only difference is there is only me .

I suppose sadly the problem for WB is that she really cannot afford to go over budget at all.
So flipping sad buying a wee coffee & going two quid over on on food spends makes such a difference.
I just cannot believe this is how people are to live if they are noy going to depend on credit.
