Budget is looking a bit healthier, W, but I agree with SA it is just not right for you to be put under this stress worrying about money when you're trying to get yourself straight and move on.
Anything we can do to help please just ask. xxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Your bank balance and food budget are looking a lot better Wannabe although £15 for 4 of you is still very low. Hopefully the DLA will come through soon.
I didn't realise Trussell Trust only let you use the foodbank 3 times a year, that seems a bit harsh. As far as I know our foodbank is independent and they also run a pantry. I've just been reading their website and you have to be eligible for the pantry so a little bit of form filling is required but for £3.50 per week you can choose 10 grocery items and fresh fruit and veg - retail value is £15. Don't know how common this is or whether it's just a one off in our town? x0 -
Glad things are looking a bit healthier WF xxMummytogirls x0

Neither did I and, I suspect, that most people don't know that's the case. I suppose they must have their reasons but it does seem to penalise those most in need. I really like the thinking behind your independent food bank.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -

You are doing brilliantly Wannabe. I honestly don't know how you remain so positive.
Having read about the level of care your little one needs, I cannot believe that your DLA was not reawarded. I really hope that you hear something next week, everyone should be back to work normally from Monday so hopefully they will start to get through the backlogs.
Enjoy a nice chilled weekend with the smalls x0
