  • Just popped in to say hi wannabe. I'm sorry you've had a such a tough start to the new year.

With regards to the kid's snacks. Please speak to the nursery /school and explains your current situation. If it's too hard to do face to face or via phone send them an email. Explain your income issues and that you're paying priority debts, but struggling. I'm sure they'll understand and you won't have to pay.

Have you looked on trash nothing for a bed? It's a free website like free cycle for things in your area. There's often beds given away in my area. Even a single would help you get a better nights sleep.

Sending you lots of love and virtual hugs. You sound like such a strong woman and amazing mum. Xxx

    Afternoon :)

Thank you for all your replies.

I had a busy morning, swapping the bedrooms round. It's SO much better. I just have horrid pink bedroom walls for myself now :rotfl:

I haven't heard of that Jwil I will have a look thank you.

    I haven't Lucky I will have a look.

Thank you Susie I have replied to your PM.

Thank you Choccygirl I plan to speak to school Monday morning as DS will have a trip letter this week too. I haven't looked anywhere really for a bed just the free sites on Facebook etc I keep an eye on. It really isn't a problem though so I admit it hasn't really been a priority

Thanks again for all the replies I think I have replied to everyone

    Afternoon :)

Got lots done this morning, still have some ironing to do :o As you can tell this keeps being put off :o But it will be done this afternoon.

Have rang and spoke to a charity about some things that need replacing of youngest's and they have agreed to loan some equipment until the DLA is sorted. A huge relief and will make it easier than dealing with half working things that are leaking/not charging. Being delivered and set up tomorrow :)

Smalls are eating soup and warm bread for lunch and then I will set them up with something to do why I iron.

Hope everyone has a good day

Also from me, the laptop is on its way and I also gave a friend a lift to the shops, we both had loads of fun in the carpark finishing the packaging so that it was well protected but within the size, I hope you have fun opening it when it arrives :rotfl::rotfl:

The kindness and help shown from people is amazing. Whether it's advice, tips or gifting something, it does wonders for the spirit seeing everybody pulling together. To quote Willy Wonka, 'so shines a good deed in a weary world' :) x
