Dinner was a fail. Disgusting comes to mind. It was something gifted that had been in the freezer quite a while. not quite a ready meal but enough to just need the one tray cooking for a 'meal' Horrid.
So quick change of plan and made them pasta with some pasta sauce out the freezer and the last of the cheese from the freezer too.
Smalls are in bed. Just having a cuppa and checking on surveys. They are so quiet! Hope they pick up soon
Going to meal plan and write a list of things we need. I still have some ironing to catch up on will make sure it's done this evening/tomorrow.
Friday is the day I can see some small movement in the debt again and make being so skint 'worth' it. Even if it is only small steps.

Our meal was a bit odd tonight as well. It was pasta parcels, make and brand I've bought plenty of times before, but there were strips of tomato skin inside that had the texture of plastic. Even DD didn't eat it and she'll eat anything

I only do Prolific but not had much through at all lately. I'm a bit sad as I actually enjoy doing them, they're on a par with word puzzles for me - the money is definitely a bonus :rotfl:0 -
Happy new year Wannabe. Sorry it's not looking like it so far but I hope the rest of 2019 brings you better things!

I agree Beanie, such a lovely thread and Wannabe is such an amazing Mum.
Do you have a Nectar card Wannabe and do the Nectar Canvass surveys ?They are very boring and tedious but I find the points add up and can be then used for shopping in Sainsbury's. I like it because they email when a survey is available and I don't have to go looking for them x0 -
