Well I'm dithering today. I think I might go crawling back to a relative and speak to them about helping me pay my rent this week. I really can't afford to get behind anymore as I just can't catch up
and if I break the agreement anymore I'm worried they'll proceed with the warrant of eviction.
If this doesn't work I will work on another plan that I'm not sure what yet. I have text relative asking if we can call over for a cuppa. It makes me so annoyed I'm going back there
But needs must. It isn't for long and it is only 1 week I need help with so I'm hoping this won't be a problem.
PA has hit £6.08 so I will call and get juice and paracetamol from L1dl on the way over to the relative. Should be a spend of less than £1 so I can send £5 over to the council tax.
ETA, While this feels like a huge step back I feel like it will help with my worry about the house etc and make sleep a little easier. Fingers crossed!“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Fingers crossed your relative helps
As for the council have you made them aware you've lost the dla as surely they will give you some wriggle room til the appeal has been decided xxNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -
Okay we aren't going to relatives.. So plan B will be thought about.
However we are going to pop to Mr L for the 2 things we need only! and walk through the park for some fresh air. Think it will do us all some good.

Abba no the council are really not willing to negotiate waiting any longer. I have already broke the court order that has the warrant of eviction on a suspension, I'm £150 behind which they have agree for me to catch up at £25 a week for the next 6 weeks. So they have been helpful but they require the first payment of £150 on Friday and every Friday going forward.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -

Debt
Council Tax £375 (£10 behind)
Rent arrears £1545
Credit card £150
Total £2070
Bank balance 2p
Cashed out £10 from Panelbase which should arrive next week.
Been to Mr L. £1.33 spend on Juice/Paracetamol and some potatoes.
Sent £5 to the council tax now just £10 behind which the panel base cash out will cover.
I think plan B for the rent is to just try and muddle through on the £5 left on Friday. Smalls will need £3 snack money on Monday and I will become creative with what we have in the freezer to feed us and do pack lunches. However that then means next Friday we will have nothing in the freezer and still only £5 budget so ... need some sort of plan but at least it isn't as urgent as needing it by tomorrow.
Abba CA wasn't really helpful last time I needed help as it was a court order already granted which I did receive support from a charity in getting the suspension rather than a straight eviction. I could go back to court to ask for the £25 a week to be reduced however I'd need to find the court costs to ask for this then risk the fact they could decide it's been ongoing for a long time and I've broken the current agreement a few times so the eviction could be granted if I lose.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Hi Wannabe, must have been something in the air last night, I was awake til gone 3am. Wish I'd known everybody else was and I'd have fired my laptop up and had a chat

Sorry to hear you're struggling with things at the moment. It must be a real worry for you. x0 -
I'm re-reading some of your replies Wannabe. Do you mean on Friday when you've paid rent, you'll have £5 to last you for the following week for food and anything else that crops up, but £3 of that is already spoken for with school snacks, in effect leaving you with £2? Or am I totally misunderstanding what you're saying - fingers crossed

That is right however I just remembered I have £5 love to shop vouchers so I will go to Iceland with these for fresh bits and bread. I think I've double counted the £3 snack money so I do have £5 left not £2. So should be okay until the 11th. When I'll need a new plan
As that £5 will need to last the week with nothing much to be carried forward from the cupboards/freezer. But as I said it gives me longer to think about it.
Once the rent is caught up we have £30 a week for food etc which is definitely doable this is only short term issues to catch up.

Morning WF,
Sorry you are having money worries but if anyone can get through it you can.
Could you speak to school and ask if they wouldn't mind you missing a week on the snack money? Im sure they would understand.
Also how about the food bank? You've donated enough, maybe its time for a little help back?
You can do this, keep going xxMummytogirls x0 -
So how far behind are you on the rent arrears ? I
