xAlso from me, the laptop is on its way and I also gave a friend a lift to the shops, we both had loads of fun in the carpark finishing the packaging so that it was well protected but within the size, I hope you have fun opening it when it arrives :rotfl::rotfl:
I'm so glad your friends on here are able to help you :T. You work so hard and are such a good mum, you don't deserve to have to struggle for things most people take for granted. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Thank you all so much.
I got carried away with the bedrooms and have roped in help to get the curtain poles and things swapped from the girls old room into the girls new room. It looks SO much better. I have sorted through the girls toys (I'm sure those with little girls understand how you find shopkins and random little pieces of doll shoes etc in the weirdest of places despite everything having it's place to be put away)
I will finish the ironing later when its all dry.
Thank you for all the help especially over the last few weeks. I am confident in saying we will make it through now. Will be back with more after I've got the smalls out the bath and in bed

Good to hear things are better. I know what you mean about girls stuff. Even lego pieces were a welcome relief after DD's bits and pieces. And why do girls know exactly what they've got but never know where it is. The hours I must have spent looking for things no bigger than my fingernail. :rotfl:0

Thank you

Exactly that Teafor2! Each set of things have a separate box/tub. I hate when they put them away mixed up.
I can't stop now I've started :rotfl: I keep seeing bits I want to do next. I feel like a child now I have my 'own' room. I mean I had a room before but it already had the girls clothes/toys etc in because theirs was too small it literally fits a bed in what's now my room. But now I have my 'own' room that can be mine
I still need to meal plan however because I've spent all day upstairs :rotfl: Still need to finish the ironing and polish the school shoes for Monday. Must also make sure the swim kits and pe kits are back in bags ready to return to school Monday (They should be but I like to make sure)

Pleased to read you're sounding more positive and that people have been so kind and rallied round

I can't believe you don't get more help, it's a crime
You're a genuine case it's just not fair. I hope you're pushing things and not being too proud. Whatever it takes to get by at the moment, one day your ship will come in

You remind me of how I used to be Wannabe. My DD had boxes for everything and I'd spend ages making sure stuff was where it should be. Then she'd do what kids do..... get it all out to play with and mess everything up again :rotfl:
She's at Uni now so long outgrown toys and I sit here sometimes and think about the amount of time I used to spend on things like that and wonder why. But back then it was important to how I felt and functioned and made complete sense. I needed to do it so I felt like I had a clear head. I still don't function very well if there's a wardrobe that needs tidying or a drawer needs sorting out but I'm not half as bad as I was. In fact I'm perfecting the art of procrastination very well lately

I am just like that! I love knowing that everything has it's place and 99% of the time everything is where it should be. It makes me unsettled if not. Like now I'm dying to go and finish moving clothes around and things. I want to move DS's bed around in his room
Once I've started I can't stop.

Thank you SA I think we will be okay now. I can relax a little. Well when DD's things come tomorrow because currently one of the machines are just beeping at me to tell me it's back up battery is low even though it's plugged in to the wall  Feel like locking it outside :rotfl:

Wannabe, are you sure the items shouldn't be provided anyway? Being electronic items I'm not sure about but we got DS's buggy, bath step, toilet seat etc through occupational therapy.
We are doing the same with the girls. We switched to the bigger room last year after they said they wanted the smaller room (freshly painted that day) but there really isn't enough room for the 3 of them. We definitely won't get it done in a day though (or even a week!) So you have done fantastic to have it all swapped and sorted.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554
