    Evening :) Nearly

Busy day today, got lots organised for the big day. A NSD. Smalls had a good day at school and come home happy :D Just tomorrow to go!

They all want pasta in one form or another for dinner so that is what they are currently eating. Five minutes peace ;) Then bath and bedtime.

Have cashed out on VO for argos and have ordered a board game for the 3 of them to share (Still counting as a NSD as was £10 gift vouchers and the game was £10 ;)). Will collect that why I'm over at the vets tomorrow.

Tomorrow's list is going to be impossible at this rate :o

Need to think about feeding myself something at some point and have to iron the uniform.

Hope you've all had a lovely day.

    P.s Still raining  :(

Hope tomorrow it stops raining - for me too - really slows me down when I've got umbrellas and puddles to deal with.

About tomorrow's list... what gets done, gets done. The rest is obviously misplaced from some future list. I have a lot of lists like that. It just goes to prove they have a life of their own. :o

Hope you sleep well and tomorrow goes smoothly. :)

My approach to this stress might work for you WannabeFree

My lists are a page per subject as it lets me partition the areas of pressure into little compartments in my head. Just a page per subject. Any list gets one or two things crossed off a day. If the list is longer than a page, I stick it in order of priority and set up parking lot lists of the nagging things I must not forget but can be undertaken in the longer term.

This approach, with a pen and paper to write down the bits in my head let me get it out of my head and go back to sleep - it might not stop it waking me up but it does let it go. It really helps me. It might help you.

I also do this little thing to empty my head - you could try this
    Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £10,020.92 out of £6000 after September
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £2234.63/£3000 or 74.49% of my annual spend so far (not going to be much of a Christmas at this rate as no spare after 9 months!

I agree with Suffolk Lass, once I've written something down it's a weight off my mind and even if I have to get out of bed to do it, it's worth the effort :)

Try to think of going into town as a positive - it will be a productive trip where things will get done and they won't be on your mind any more. Have you got a list of what you need and an order of shops to go to so that you don't need to spend any more time there than is necessary. Promise yourself a nice cup of coffee and a film when you get home as a reward for doing it.

Hope the DC's have a lovely last day at school and that your trip to town goes well. xx
