Morning
The items of FB arrived this morning and are even more perfect than I thought. I will clean them up and make them look pretty before wrapping. Both girls are sorted now
DS trainers are found and I will order next week.
Glad to be done for the birthdays and that's it until Christmas :rotfl:
Been to hospital and just got back, more taxi fares! £1 into a donation box and £2.20 on a coffee.
It's snowing  Hope it doesn't stay and gets washed away so it doesn't make getting to the bigger hospital tomorrow a problem
Didn't get the bits from the supermarket but will send smalls Dad this evening.
Hope everyone else is well

If you are claiming Carers and Income Support then you should get Council Tax Benefit to cover all or if not all then about 95% of it so hopefully your bill going forward will be much lower.

I think I'm going to try and stand firm with my £26 a week
On 'paper' the budget set by 'helpers' there isn't even £26 to squeeze. Although as we know here my food budget is never high and neither is entertainment/clothes and things.
The amount I was told to offer from the council advice place was a lot less than £26 a week! and that's from their own advisers!
Which reminds me I really do need to sort my benefits and things out.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Smalls are making Birthday cards and all kinds of secret 'gift' pictures. I'm banished from the kitchen - fine by me I'm quite happy on the sofa. So much so I fell asleep earlier“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0

I think you should stand firm Wannabe. The council can be very nasty in my experience and resort to threats and baliffs very quickly  (I've been there and done that).
But they can't take what you haven't got, and with three young children, one of whom is ill, they will be forced to be reasonable in the end.
By the way, happy birthday for tomorrow Wannabe and I hope you have something nice planned:bdaycake:

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.
