On another note sent DD's invites out and already had some replies.

I really need to find some invites for DS, a friend was printing/making some but now can't :o I might have to ask a neighbour to order from eBay for me now I'm not using ExOh's eBay.

I also need to find a box and decorate it to put DD's gift in.

    It was lovely HH.

Considering taking them to the park today, the weather is dry finally!

Sunday dinner planned too, DS misses Sunday dinner :rotfl:

Well I didn't go to the park but their Dad took them so at least they burnt of some energy and got some fresh air.

Sunday dinner is cooking and uniforms ready for tomorrow. Another week loaded full of appointments and nothing much else. It's pretty full on for the next 6 weeks.

    Hope everyone's had a lovely Sunday x

More thinking :o Sorry for all the random posts.

There's 7 weeks until our first 'holiday' I doubt I'll be up to much walking and adventures. However I need to make sure it's fun and memories are being made. I'm also aware I want to do this on no extra costs. All food and drink will be from our usual grocery budget we'd have at home. Entertainment doesn't have a budget of it's own, we do as much free stuff as possible. This has to stay the same. The budget for entertainment is still zero. Swimming is free - but I won't be able to swim. Will see if there's something on for DS and DD though and youngest can watch. The beach is by the side of the accommodation. We can do walks/sunsets/picnics and games. I will take our holiday kit of dominoes and cards and the couple of classic family board games.

I have already set aside 3 scrap books from Xmas gifts. Thank you to Pauline for the idea last time we will complete journals this time too.

October is our main holiday this year. I'm saving for this on its own so we can do some things that do cost (zoo, maybe a dinner out etc) It will still include all the free things but I should be back to being healthy enough to enjoy it too. Fingers crossed!

Okay a long ramble so getting to the point, I'm considering a small savings pot for the Easter Holiday for entertainment  Rather than being too harsh and fed up if we do end up spending.

Sounds good. Kids love the seaside and the scrap books sound brilliant :)

Fingers crossed you'll soon be well enough to enjoy too xx

    Morning,

Monday again, flying by these weeks.

Smalls in school, youngest isn't because I think we've gone back to a teething baby never mind toddler! I think we saw every 15 minutes last night.

Need to get some milk and bits today. Going to see if someone can go to the supermarket for me. If not it will be more expensive stuff from the fuel station.

Have some more replies back from DD's invites so she's happy. Need to sort DS's invites out today. Also have 2 things to post too.

Hope you all have a lovely day

Okay so things might need to change around a bit.

Council tax are being a total pain. It was being passed over to the bailiffs today  Like slow down and give me chance! The letter to complete only came on the 2nd! and is only dated the 31st!

I've called and they've received my SOA and offer of repayment I sent before actually receiving their letters however they need the one they sent  So hopefully that will arrive with them today.

The email I received back from them was so rude! and said unless a 'significant' payment was made then they wouldn't be looking to set up a new arrangement and recovery action will continue!

I've called back and they want £382 :( I told her this was basically impossible! and they can see that from the SOA. She's asked me to re look at my offer of payment and see if I can significantly increase it starting this week and to see if I have willing family members to help with the payment they want. Yeah right! Been here before.

Anyway I'm going to have a coffee and see what extra I can offer them weekly and hope they take it. If not I'll have to hope the bailiffs will set up an arrangement to pay. After all there isn't anything worth taking in 'goods'

Oh W what a pain with the council tax, they sound like they’re being very unreasonable. What has changed for them to start demanding “significant” amounts?? If you don’t have it, you don’t have it and no amount of threats is going to change that! Last thing you need right now.

Hope youngest is feeling better soon, teething is not fun for anyone. Hope you can catch up on some sleep.
