Well done on sticking to your diet GR, Im sure I wouldnt have resisted the chocolates!:jMay 2013 new beginnings:j0

Hi GR...my days been okay. Nothing exciting to report. Popped into the town centre to buy jiffy bags for ebay and spent a fortune, I don't know what on either. Also called into the dreaded Asda. I daren't check my bank balance. I'm ruddy useless with my money

DS mithering to come on here. Mind you I did say I only wanted to check my ebay and peep on MSE. That was about 2 hours ago!
If you change your bread to the weightwatchers one you can have 2 slices, equivalent to one ordinary slice.
Well done on resisting those chocolates. We get lot's of goodies brought into work virtually daily with folks birthdays etc but since going vegan, over a year now, it doesn't bother me one bit, I would happily munch through loads otherwise!
Keep well and have a lovely relaxed evening. Think DS will give me another nudge soon.:D

Mornig Diz and anyone else whose reading.
I think the anti D's are well and truly out of my system now and I can't believe how much better I feel without them. I still get my down days but they don't seem to be as bad as they were when I was on them. Saying that I was really stessed over the holiday man thing so maybe now he's out of the equation that is making me feel a lot calmer.
It's J's mothers birthday tomorrow and I thought I'd send her some flowers to cheer her up and wish her happy birthday. Have just ordered a lovely metal planter for the garden with a rose plant in it. Hopefully it'll last her for a few years. I love flowers but hate it when they die, they never last long enough.
Not got much planned for today other than the dreaded food. I can't believe how much I think about food when I'm on a diet. Its obsessive.
Also asked J if he'd like to spend some time with us on Sunday if we go out to a park and for some lunch, he hasn't said no and I'm really hoping he'll say yes. He mentioned me going down his mums house again last night so maybe things are moving forward!!!!!
E-Bay been really slow. SOld one item this morning but its only a very small items and I've only made about £1 peofit but the pound is better off in my bank account.
Right off to make some lunches now. Catch you later.0 -

Hi Diz, all's well just feeling a bit down/ Have booked today off work had such an awful day there yesterday just couldn't bring myself to go back today.
Am going to have a lzy day. Been having problems with my landline this morning. Have you ever tried to report a problem to Talk Talk? They have got to be the worse company I've ever had to deal with. Not got much planned today, got 2 parcels to post off but apart from that it's all quiet. I think I may pop to Farm Foods later and see what bargains they've got there.
I managed to survive the 3 days diet and it's back to normal eating for me today just less of it. I've decided to be sensible and stick to 1250 calories a day. Have got my mealplan ready for today and it's looking like this:
Breakfast : 2 Toast and jam
Lunch : Ham Salad
Dinner : Chicken strips and stir fry
I'll probably have a few calories left over for some fruity snacks in between so it shouldn't be too bad.
Hope you have a good day, catch you later x0 -
Talk talk helpline are useless spent long enough on the phone with broadband. Plan to go back to BT in August. Hope you have got it sorted.
Well done on the diet.:jMay 2013 new beginnings:j0 -
Hi Wendy, managed to get it sorted but it wasn't down to talk talk, a friend came and had a look for me which was good as I'm still waiting for talk talk to get back to me.
Have not had a bad day today. Went to Farm Foods and spend £40 but my freezer is jam packed now and there's lots of meals there, only need fresh stuff to bulk them out. Its nice to have a day off and do nothing isn't it. Not had one of those for ages.
Have stuck to the diet again today and have got enough calories left over to have a weightwatchers slice or a yoghurt later on this evening.
E-bay really really slow again, but I dod manage to find some nice books that'll fetch me a nice little sum on Amazon if they sell. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.0 -
Hi GR...big hugz and hope today has given you that little bit of 'me time' that you must have needed.
You're doing great with the diet. Sounds healthy as well. Good idea to add that little treat too. Don't know if your calories will allow but I sometimes crumble a biscuit into my soya yogurts, makes it a bit like a cheesecake iykwim
Hope alls ok with you and J.

All fine with me and J thanks Diz, he's taken his mum to see Neil Diamond tonight as a birthday treat. She phoned me earlier as I'd had a lovely patio rose in a metal pot delivered to her via interflora. She was quite touched. She's been poorly lately and as it's her birthday I thought I'd kill 2 birds with one stone. I love flowers but they never last so she was quite chuffed that this would be able to go in her garden.
Have managed to stick to my meal plan today and haven't found it so bad. It's really the wrong time of month for me to diet, I'm at the 'I need to eat everything in the cupboard' time of the month. Have just been preparing my menu for tomorrow. I have to bear in mind that I eat in the canteen on a Friday so have planned my lunch accordingly. SO tomorrow I have
Breakfast - poached egg on toast
Lunch - Jacket potato with filling (not decided yet) I may have beans and take some low fat cheese in with me to add to it.
Dinner - Grilled steak with salad.
Thats a good idea with the biscuit, I'll keep that in mind!
Have had 3 sales today, 2 on e-bay and one on Amazon so have added them onto my spreadsheet. Will update my sig on Sunday.
I've had a really nice day today, have done nothing special just been at home chilling, but I really needed it.0 -
Good morning all. Have had another good nights sleep but really wish I'd booked today off work as well. I really don't want to go. Saying that it's Friday so if I can just get through today it's 2 days off again.
Sold another book on Amazon last night so I've got 4 parcels to post off this morning. Not bad for a days work
Have got quite a good menu for today so don't think I'm going to find it too difficult to stick to. Its the crisps and chocolate that kills me, have got them everywhere in the house for the kids. Have bought myself some weightwatchers cake and small bags of popcorn to make it a bit easier on myself. Have decided that one day a week I'm going to be eating normally, that way I won't feel bad if I get invited out for a meal or party. This weeks piggy day is going to be Sunday when Itake the kids (and hopefully J) out to lunch.
Best get off now to make the lunches, catch you later.
