I am so excited. I placed my laptop on e-bay last night. It's not working very well and I've said this but I've already got 2 watchers and still got 9 days to go. Its currently listed at £50 but if I can get more then that'll be brill. It'll certainly make a good start to my challenge. It's been in a box for the last couple of weeks and it probably would have stayed there and rotted away. Will keep you posted on any bids I get.0

Hi GR
Oh I hope you do well on ebay. You're so motivated aren't you? I think tomorrow is 5p listing day, I may make the effort and get some things listed.Think I'll put them on for 99p start. Even if they go cheap at least it's something.
Good news about the halifax. At least you know it's on its way.
Have a great Thursday.

Oh Diz I wish I had some more motivation and enthusiasm. Decided last night that I'm going to try and come off my anti-depressants. Feel quite panicky at the thought of it but they are maiking me put weight on and giving me heartburn. Am going to start taking one every other day for a few weeks as you can't just stop taking them! Hopefully I'll be OK with this.
Have made my first £15 in the challenge. Had a QUidco payout which will show in my account over next few days but I'm going to count it in for today. Have done a spreadsheet on the computer so I can keep track of it all. How sad is that?
Got a ton of chippings coming today for my weekend garden project, it's going to be hard work shifting them but I'm determined to get as much done as I can (weather permitting). They cost me £40 but that's relatively cheap spending for a BH weekend don't you think?
Laptop still only got 2 watchers and the price remains the sameMy perfume is finishing tomorrow and it currently stands at £2, not an amazing amount I know, but it all helps. It's cheap listing today so tonight I'm going to have a search around what I can get shot of.
I am so determined to keep my spends down this month.
Hope you all have a good day.0 -
Good evening all. Have at last received my cheque off the Halifax and am over the moon about it.
Have spend an hour in the garden tonight and moved some of the chippings. Have ordered a ton and seemed to have moved loads and not even touched the surface of them! Think I'm in for a busy weekend.
Have been searching the house for stuff to stick onto e-bay. Have managed to dig out 4 books so I'm going to list them after I've caught up on here. Am going to try and dig out some other stuff as well.0 -
Hiya GR
Blimey you're going to be busy this weekend aren't you! Worth it though.
Good luck with the anti-depressants GR. I know when my mum died I bought some Bach flower remedy, the Aspen one. It's for unknown fears and terrors. I was getting to the stage were I would be in a roomful of people and then I'd start feeling really panicky. Same when we went to the pictures etc. Couldn't bare to be that close to people, the Aspen was brilliant and stopped those horrible feelings. I would really recommend it. May help with those feelings you're getting. Holland and Barretts sell it.
I've just re-listed some things I hadn't sold on ebay but I've started them at 99p this time. Fingers crossed for both us

I normall take Bachs rescue remedy, it's a mixture of a few flowers and it works a treat. I was put on the anti D's last year when DS got into trouble and it tipped me over the edge. Been on them for over a year now and really don't want to take them any longer. I feel as if they are controlling me and I don't want to feel like that any longer.
I've been so busy tonight, I've joined in the May Challenge and I've e-bayed everything I can lay my hands on, even stuck some more books onto Amazon.
Am having a wee rest now with a bottle of stella. Don't really like the stuff but I've got no soft drinks here and I don't drink hot drinks.0 -
Hi GR
Your body must be letting you know that you're ready to come off them now GR. Could you reduce the dosage and do it over a longer period?
I'm shattered now with all that cooking and baking.
Think I'll have an earlyish night and have a read in bed. I'll have a little browse on here first though

Thats what I'm trying to do Diz, took a tablet on Tuesday then nothing yesterday but one today, going to do that for 2 weeks and then take one tablet every third day. Apparently it makes you really ill if you just stop taking them.
I'm pretty tired myself today and got to be in work early tomorrow for a meeting so I really should be thinking about having the nightly tidy up before bed. I've run out of books to read now and I'm determined no to buy any more as I hope that it'll encourage me to do some college work. It's not worked so far though.....0 -
Oh No, have got to be in work eary today. Why do I agree to these things?
Am not expecting much to happen today on the money front. Seem to have got lots to do out of the little money I've got. Spent a lot of the months money on DS's birthday present last weekend and it's really leaving me short. Can't even see how I'm going to make £10 today
I'm going to pay the Halifax cheque in today but I really really don't want to touch that. I suppose if things get desperate, it's there for emergencies.
Hope you all have a good day x0 -
I've managed to make £7.20 on e-bay today which isn't bad considering I wasn't expecting to make anything. Have got a few things ending over the next few days but don't expect to make a lot.
Nothing exciting in the post either, not that I'm expecting anything.
Got the ex calling in tonight, so its going to be another night of him telling me about all the things that's wrong in his life, just what you need to start the BH weekend off.0
