Hi there Diz, you've been quiet over the last few days I hope your not fretting about the OD.

I am like an agony aunt and on times I'd like to shout 'LEAVE ME ALONE'. Saying that they are all really good to me and help me when my marriage broke down so I guess its payback time now!

I had a panic this morning. Went to get cash out of the cashpoint and a message came on screen 'I'm sorry you've taken out the maximum withdrawal amount for today. OMG I got in the car and was at another cash machine on the other side of town within seconds checked my balance and all my money was there! It shook me up no end, thought somebody had cloned my card and pinched all my money!

Have got home from work and the house is in silence, kids out with their friends and the first one not back until half 7. I love them to bits but isn't it nice having 5 minutes to yourself.

Have booked tomorrow afternoon off work. Have got a half days leave which I need to take before Tuesday so I decided I'd book a few hours off tomorrow, chill out a bit and then go out to Ikea and for some food with my cousin and our daughters. I can't wait.

Well there was nothing in the post today only the lakeland catalogue. Anyone would think I'm some kind of Delia Smith having this catalogue but if only you all knew - I absolutely hate cooking its a real chore to me.

Nothing else to report only that I've sold another book today (it was actually the one I was reading and I had another 120 pages to go to finish, thank god the boss was off as I've managed to finifh it this afternoon and it's all packed ready for posting tomorrow).

Hiya GR...I'm not fretting too much about the OD. Nothing I can do except be careful with my money, that'll get it down. But I seem to want to spend at the moment. A few years ago I was into doing patchwork, just hand sewn pieces and quite therapeutic and I'm resisting the urge to go to John Lewis for some material. I've got a cross stitch on the go and haven't picked that up in ages so don't know why I think I'd do the patchwork!
Oh GR I love Ikea...there are some great ideas for living rooms aren't there?
Wonder what happened regarding the ATM. I would have panicked like mad, mind you, they might have felt sorry and put something in for me :D
Glad it was okay in the end.
Don't spend too much in Ikea it's very tempting there.

I've got nothing in mind that I want in Ikea I'm just going because it'll get me out of the house. Saying that I absolutely love the strawberry laces in the food shop so no doubt I'll pick a few bags of those :) I'm more looking forward to a meal out afterwards.

Years and years ago I done a cross stitch picture of a horse pulling a cart and it took me ages to do. I eventually had it framed and its hanging on the wall in my hall. I used to enjoy doing things like that but I've not done anything for years. Next time I go into Cardiff I may look for one to keep me occupied.

I find as I've got older I'm not as relaxed as I used to be. My mother tells me I live on my nerves as I can't keep still and I'm always running around and stressed. I've always got 6 things on the go at once.

I think you're dead right GR...when the children were toddlers I seemed to do loads more craft type things than I do now. Even when I'm so called relaxing I can't be bothered to get the cross stitch out, even though I want to do it
Ah GR 'living on your nerves' is a mum's saying isn't it. :D My mum used to say living on your nerves kept you young :D So at least there's some benefit to it. I'm in my early forties and often get mistaken for being much younger like late twenties, early thirties (true Gods honour) but I am a classic case of living on my nerves, so it must be true what mum used to say :D
Ah GR I still feel like I'm 18 inside though, time really is a blink of an eye.
Strawberry laces remind me of a scene from Mighty Boosh where Vince dropped a strawberry bootlace on a map he'd been reading and he'd been reading the bootlace as part of the map. (funnier when you see it) if you're a fan of Mighty Boosh, that is. lol

I'm 36 but can get away with being 30. I've got a really impish smile and wicked sense of humour and people think I'm much younger than the grown up I really am. I'm still 18 inside my head and think I can get away with behaving like one (when the kids aren't with me). I'm a real party animal and karaoke queen and inside I think I'm another Kerry Katona!!!!

Oh well, we're a long time dead aren't we?

Lol oh GR what are we like. I think if you act young you stay young and vice versa. So here's to us staying forever 18

Only half day in work today then off this afternoon and to Ikea tonight WayHay. Boss been off all week and it's been sooooo boring in work.

Managed to see another 2 items on Amazon so they are all packed up for posting this morning and I've just checked online banking and that's all in order, this money saving lark is getting to be a ritual....

Maybe I'll hear off the Halifax today :)
