I've just ordered an oak desk for the living room. I can't be left alone for one minute can I. Well I've not gone anywhere over Easter and if I had I would easily have spent £100 so I decided to treat myself. I just hope I like it when it comes.

I've sold another 3 books/PS2 games today so that takes my total up to 7 to post on Tuesday. The weekend started slow but sales seem to have picked up today.

Am having a chilling night in with the TV tonight and maybe have a little drink later.

Hi GR...wow those amazon sales are brilliant well done. I've not sold anything since but two things are better than none.
Why not treat yourself, the table sounds gorgeous.
All Man U fans here except DD who supposedly supports man City (just to be awkward) lol
Hope everyone's having a lovely relaxing Easter break.

Thanks Diz, how are things with you? You managed to catch up on some sleep? Can't believe there's only tomorrow left and then back in work on Tuesday :( I really needed this time off and I've blinked and its gone!!!

With regards to the table, I've thought about it for a few weeks and decided that it'll look lovely in the living room. Don't know when its going to be delivered though, hope it's soon!
  • Ssssh dont mention the w*** word. The kids rooms look great and had a lovely unexpected dinner at sisters. Just ned to get this darn car boot done now. No luck on Amazon for me.

Aw GR the time blimming flys by doesn't it?
But you have done loads of work in your house. Think how great it's going to feel coming home from work knowing you can relax because all your jobs are up to date. Bliss.
Off to try and make that risotto now.

Thanks guys. At least work should be a doddle this week as boss is off. Hoping I'm going to be able to get some college work done. I know its naughty but as long as my work is up to date nobody will know.

Have given the house a real good clean and I'm proud of myself for getting it done. There just doesn't appear to be enough hours in the working day to get all the cleaning done as well. I think we should have half a day off each week to do such jobs so we don't waste out weekends doing it. Have decided that I'm going back to doing the food shop online from this week because it saves me some time. I know its lazy but it used to save me loads of money and I just can't afford the time any more.

    Hi GR
Well I've just got home. Dropped DD off at friends brothers party then they're getting a taxi to her friends who lives up the road from us. I'll probably still be up so said I might pick her up again. Good job I'm a part time owl lol
Hope you had a good chilled out evening.
I think I might do my next shop online too. Saves me trawling around and spending too much. Oh I won another £10 on the lottery too. Makes up for accidently getting 3 euro million tickets...
    Catch you later hun

Good morning Diz and well done on the lottery win. That's 2 wind for you now I reckon the 3rd win will be the big one - hopefully!

I did have a good chilled out ev ening thanks, went to bed about 11 and fell asleep almost immediately. However my cousin phoned me in tears at about 12.30 and I just couldn't go back to sleep. As a result I was up really early this morning, already ironed the clothes I washed yesterday, done the dishes and put some more washing in. Don't you just hate it when you look forward to a lie in then can't sleep it seems so unfair.

Well I've not got very much planned for today, think I'm going to try and finish reading my book. Have only read the first 4 chapters but am hoping to finish it by tonight so I can list it on Amazon.

Hope you all enjoy your Bank Holiday x

Can you believe Easter is over and its back to work tomorrow :( at least its a short week again and its a good week this week. Child benefit on Tuesday, pay on Wednesday, tax credits on Friday and CSA on Saturday.

Have made packed lunch for tomorrow and packed up all the books ready to post off, so not a total failure of a day.
