Hi Dizzy! Congratulations on the sale! You'll soon be addicted, I've been selling on Amazon for three years now and still get a thrill every time I sell something.
The Amazon fees are a mystery. If you sell something for 1p you get £1.41 - so don't list anything at that price that will be expensive to post.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
Hi Guys, Sea is right, I can't for the life of me work out how Amazon works but it's making me a bit of money and clearing my clutter, so who am I to argue?
It's nealy the end of the week again and I've not done too badly this week. My motivation is a little low at the moment but as I'm still saving, even smalll amounts, I can't grumble. Just going to pop over to the banking site now to see if my cheque for £125 has cleared. Don't think it would have but best check anyway.
Hope you all have a good day.0 -
Well today I've sold another book and had a reply off Egg saying they are not going to refund my charges. So tonight I'm going to send a reply to them, pack up my book and list a few more books for sale.0

Hi GR, I am fine. Great going on those books. I have sold some CDs & DVDs on Amazon although I didn't get much for them lol. It gets addictive sending away books and stuff on ebay. I am taking a break from it.I am full of joy, abundance, wealth and love.I am a money magnet. Money comes easily and frequently.Canada excursion fund £1243/2500£10000 from £100 challenge £0/£10,0000

I might look in the charity shops for books to put on amazon. Apparently the self help books go well and things on religion, new age, text books etc.
Well friday tomorrow GR again...might do something at the weekend, trouble is when it comes round I can't be bothered then moan that I've not done anything

I know exactly what you mean. I've got a nice easy day tomorrow, boss is off and I'm working off site in the afternoon. I'm hoping maybe there'll be an early finish in it for me
As for the weekend - I've got absolutely nothing planned. The ex is visiting tomorrow night and that is it with regards to my weekend. Exciting!!!0 -
Oh GR how old are we?? I do think Summer will see us right.
Hope you get to finish early...it's nice when that that happens

Good morning all, well the Mazuma money has cleared so that's on its way to the ISA and it brings my total up to £967.35. I can't believe how well I'm doing. Saying that I am absolutely skint this week because silly old me has opened a new current account with A&L (via QUidco for £65) and arranged for my tax credits to be paid into the new account (which they have) but so far I haven't received my cashpoint card and pin for my new account so can't withdraw the money
Sometimes my bright ideas gets me into a pickle but I hopefully should be able to manage (may have to raid the £2 coins moneybox but if I do I'll put it back).
I hope I'm going to have a nice day today, a nice easy morning and then an afternoon off site training.
Hope you all have a good day.0 -
Well I've had quite a nice day today. The Mazuma cheque cleared, I've sold another book, spent the afternoon away from my desk and the office bully and was asked if I'd be interested in a better paid job. Have been reassured that the job is permanent and told I have a very good chance of gettin it. Have decided to go for it. It'll mean a massive increase in wages and a part-time degree course which will be paid for by the employer.0
