Hello GR...what is it with you and I at the moment and this tiredness!!! Honestly sometimes I feel like someones replaced my blood with lead.
Mind you if you were around at 2am this morning...??
Hope things are okay concerning the ex. I know you say you feel sorry for him and are obviously being very supportive but I would question his motives...not that I'm cynical in any way, just bit concerned. I know you're strong when you have contact with him but do just take care...
Catch you later.

Thanks Diz, I don't have any feelings for him any longer but we've been friends for nearly 14 years and he's hit a bad patch. We both know that its not each other that we want, I think he just can't cope with life at the moment and wants a friend.
Have done absolutely nothing with regards to MSE today and no money news through the post so I feel as if it's been a waste of a day. You know me I need something to happen every day to push the total up!0 -
Hi GR, sorry I've not online recently. A lot has seemed to happen wow you are doing really well with the ISA total. I have been busy with my plans for this year, hopefully I will reveal all in a new thread when things start to happen. I hope DS is ok. Well done on selling those books, getting the first sale is always the hardest but then they don't stop lol.I am full of joy, abundance, wealth and love.I am a money magnet. so I feel as if it's been a waste of a day. quote]
You know what 'they' say GR..."any day above ground is a good day"
GR I think sometimes we need a bit of time away from being, shall we say, thrifty otherwise it feels like it's consuming us. You haven't gone crazy with money or been frivolous with it so really any day where you keep hold of the pennies is indeed a good day
Sometimes it's not what you do with the days, it's what you don't do... iykwim:D
Can you see where I'm heading with this...I think sometimes you seem too hard on yourself if you're having a breather from it all...you're just recharging those batteries GR before you make your next assault
Hope you're having a relaxing evening.

Hi there Racer, hope your OK. Plans for the year, that sounds exciting, I can't think about this week never mind the rest of the year and as for planning, OMG I'm a typical take it as it comes type of person.
I'm so impatient with regards to the books, I must have logged onto my e-mails about 20 times today looking to see if there were any notifications off Amazon saying that I'd sold some more. I just want to get shot of them now!0 -
GR GR GR I've just read your post and you reminded me to check my emails....I've sold a book.....£8 Oh my crikey I'm shocked. I didn't read it all, I read the first bit then got on here to tell you....:T :j
What do I do now...I suppose read the rest of the email and it'll tell me, lol
Ok I'm calming down. Better go and sort it out. GR here's a thankyou tipple for the encouragement  Tis a pint of tia maria

HELP GR I'm really sorry to mither you about this. I've got his address but the book I've sold is a teaching resource one and in excellent condition but I forgot to put on that on the inside cover is a faded mark were I took off my 'this book belongs to...' sticker.
Should I point this out in my email to him and say if he's not happy when he gets it I'll refund him when I get it back. Ooohh I'm all confused now. What would you do???
Thanks GR
Luvz Dizzy x
No worries GR I've emailed him with the info and said if he wants a refund I'll do that. I'll just wait to hear from him before I send it out. Blimming mad with myself now!!!Official DFW Nerd Club Member no:219In the Court Of The Crimson KingI don't believe in the concept of hell, but if I did I would think of it as filled with people who were cruel to animals.Gary Larson0 -
Chill out hun, I doubt whether they buyer will worry aabout the sticker mark on the inside. That's an excellent start. Don't forget Amazon take a commission but you'll still get a better price than you would at the local car boot sale. Isn't it an amazing feeling when you sell one?
Did you find the whole process easy?0 -
Thanks GR...he probably won't bother but with it being my first book, just in case he did, I thought I'd better let him know. Don't want my first sale to get bad feedback. Hope he checks his emails...
At least I know my books are getting looked at.
It was so easy to do and the whole process is great. Couldn't find his address at first but managed to!
Unlike ebay it's amazon that the buyers pay straight away then amazon pay you. No faffing about there.
I'll just wait now for a reply from him.
How do I manage to make easy things difficult?
Luvz Dizzy x
Sold the book for £8 and even after fees I get £8.02. Don't know how this works if you sell a book for a penny. Do you then only make 3p???Official DFW Nerd Club Member no:219In the Court Of The Crimson KingI don't believe in the concept of hell, but if I did I would think of it as filled with people who were cruel to animals.Gary Larson0
