Hello GR...well in the end we stayed in and had a relaxing evening.
Nothing doing today though, the weather is pretty grim isn't it.

I totally agree with you there. We did venture out to KFC for lunch but have been in all day. Have spend the afternoon going through my paperwork and shredding some and filing some away. Also been he3lping my sister whose decided to go for a DMP.
Not done very much with the saving this weekend which is quite frustrating. I did count my £2 jar which has about £70 in it. I've decided to sit back and wait for the cheques to come to me this week. The Mazuma one is in the post so that'll be another £125 for this week.
Have just had a bath and chilling out now waiting to win the lottery!!!0 -
Well hence I didn't win the lottery last night!!! Sunday again. Have opened a new current account with A&L through Quidco and earned £65 in the process. Have decided to move from the Abbey as their internet banking isn't the best. I've decided to have 2 accounts one where my pay goes in and the DD's go out and one where my other money goes in that I live off.
Have also opened an account with HSBC again through Quidco and earning me £20.
I'm hoping that as my pay is about £250 more than my DD's it'll give me the extra incentive to save it. So the plan is to save £250 per month starting from April. Anything extra I can get into the ISA will be great but if not at least the £250 will be going in.
Have been up early today and done the ironing and put some washing in. Have only got to clean the living room today and hopefully be able to watch some TV this afternoon.0 -
Have just listed another 6 books ono Amazon. Fingers crossed I'm as lucky this week as I was last week and sell some of them.0

Have just come back from lunch at mums and I've sold 4 books on Amazon. I'm so chuffed.0

HI Girlracer :hello:
You are doing really well with the Amazon sales.:j
Hope you are feeling happier after your up and down week. You made me smile when I read you fell up you steps, I fell down my garden steps last week, one of the problems you have to put up with when you live on the wrong side of the street and you have to climb steps to get to the garden.

Hi there Looby, feeling lots better today but that may be down to the alcohol. Have got tomorrow morning off work, got to take DD to fracture clinic and I'm hoping to pop to town after clinic and before I go to work.
I am doing well with Amazon at the moment I've earned about £30 so far which is far more that I would have had if I'd sold the books at the car boot sale.
Have got hardly anything planned this coming week which is good as I've had a couple of busy weeks and feel I need to catch up on some rest and relaxation.
You seem to be doing well with your debt, how are you finding it?0 -
Glad you are feeling better, alcohol helps.
Going to pay Vanquis when my statement arrives. Going away at Easter so I will wait until I come back and look at the next debt and set a target date.
Can't wait until all debt are gone then I can start the savings.0 -
Believe it or not you get just as obsessed with saving as you do with paying off the debt. If anything I've become worse because I can now see potentially how much I could have saved if I'd not got myself into debt. I've saved nearly £1000 in 3 months, that could be £4000 per year.
Sometimes I feel so annoyed with myself, but never mind, hopefully I've learned my lesson.0 -
Good morning all, here we are at the start of another week. I'm not feeling quite so 'get up and go' this week. Got the morning off today to ake DD to fracture clinic and am hoping to call into town after (time allowing).
Have got not Money saving plans scheduled for today, other than posting off my Amazon sales and trying not to spend any more money. Hopefully I'll get the Mazuma cheque today and that can be paid into the ISA.
Hope you all have a good day x0
