GR you put me to shame you do. I wish I had your enthusiasm and get up and go. Mine's got up and gone!
That's a really hard decision to make about work GR. I suppose it's easy in the fact that you wouldn't have to work with the girl in your office but on the other hand, contract wise, would the other job be a good idea if it's not definately long term? Good idea to sleep on it.
    Have good day tomorrow GR.

Thanks Diz. I'm certainly not going to make any rash decisions at the moment. I am completely burnt out tonight have done nothing but run around all day and have not sat down since I've got in from work.

I feel as though I've got to keep myself going otherwise I stop and start to think about where my life is going and I get all confused IYSWIM. Going to have a read on here for a while then I'm off to bed.

Well the Quidco money has gone into my bank account this morning and I've transferred it straight into the ISA. Transferred £35 into it yesterday so I've started the month well.
I've not made lunch this morning so I'm slightly disappointed with myself there but will try to keep my spends to a minimum today.

Feeling quite down in the dumps today for no apparent reason. So I'm hoping my mood is going to pick up as the day goes on.

    Catch you all later.

Have had an awful day, everything has gone wrong!!!! I have however sold another book and my Amazon total is up to £22.96 so I'm quite pleased with that.

Nothing much else happened today but I am going to try and chill out tonight and maybe have a little drink.

    Hello GR
hope you're feeling a little better than earlier. If you think about it you've had quite a lot going in your life recently and maybe it's something to do with that on a deeper level? iykwim
The tiredness could be a result of all that draining of your energies. Or may be not, just a thought hun.
Hey you're amazon total is brilliant and it's still rising. That's great! Do you decide the price of your books and what about the post and packaging. How do you determine that. Went on amazon selling and it did seem easy but I've no idea about the prices and p &p!! So got confused and came off it. Doesn't take much :D I've got some vegan cookbooks and teacher resource books I could put on.
Was up with DD this morning at 6am. She was at work early this morning, DD is asleep on the couch and I'm shattered too. I'll sleep tonight.
Oh I think one of the shopaholic books might be being made into a film with Isla StClair. Read something about it in a magazine. Should be good.
Keep well and look after yourself.

Hey chick how's it going. Amazon rocks!!! The package and postage is all decided for you. With regards to what to charge I just look at what everyone else is selling the book for and knock a bit off. I just want to get rid of them. Give it a go it's dead easy. If I can do it anyone can.

As for the draining energy. Lots of little things have gone wrong this week, cat ate mail, I fell up the steps and grazed all my shin, burnt leg on oven door, picture fell of wall, I run out of petrol etc etc. Ex phoned me this morning when I was on my way to work this morning and I cried like a baby to him. He must have been worried because he phoned me 3 times at work to make sure I was OK.

Am really struggling with my sister again, her money problems are getting beyond and she's thinking about going for a DMP. I know absolutely nothing about them so feel slightly useless in trying to help her. I get the feeling that she's miffed because I won't help her out of this mess by offering her money, but I've worked bl00dy hard to get some savings behind me and I'm not about to give it away.

I feel slightly better now but not 100% so I'm going to turn all the lights off and lie in front of the fire with a little alcohol. I need it!

Aw bless you. Hope you benefit from the chilling out. Don't you feel guilty about anything. Like you say you've worked hard at your savings, and it doesn't stop anyone else from trying like you did GR.
Things can only get better hun.
How do you feel about your ex GR? Are you having second thoughts. It's good sometimes to have a shoulder to cry on. Maybe it's what you needed.
Thanks for the info re:amazon. I will try it, maybe tomorrow. I'm off for an early night now. DD up again early tomorrow so I will be too...
Have a good day tomorrow GR. It will be a better one.

  • You are not going to help your sis by bailing her out. You are being great by trying to help her already and she needs to do the rest. Families can be so difficult at times!

Hope you are feeling better today.

Good morning all. So much for my chilling out last night. Ex turned up on the doorstep again..... He was worried that he'd upset me yesterday morning and wanted to check I was OK. In he came at 10.30 and stayd unil 1.15 and told me all about his problems (yawn). He's got himself into a right mess and married this woman and now things have fallen apart he's decided I wasn't quite so bad at all. As for how do I feel about him Diz, I feel nothing at all. I feel sorry for him but thats about it.

OK enough about the boring stuff going on in my life. Back to moneysaving....
Today I'm going to post off another book that I've sold and that's about it. I'm working off site this afternoon so it'll be an excuse to get out of the office!

Catch you all later and have a good day.

Not a bad day today overall. Came home and I've received a letter off Halifax credit Card offering me £65 back in charges. The charges actually amount to £221, but saying that some of the charges were only for £12. I'm going to telephone them this morning and see if I can get any more from them. If you don't ask you don't get.

Also had my statements from Egg and have done a quick calculation and there are £100 worth of charges so I'm going to type letter up tonight to reclaim them.
