Good afternoon all, have decided yet again that I need to make a list of all the things I need to do today. (KP- your having a positive effect on me with regards to the list making). So here goes
Post e-bay parcels - done
Hoover downstairs - done
Ironing
hang out some washing
Type up some notes from work
Find another 5 things to e-bay (found 2 so far)
It doesn't seem like a lot of things to do but the ironing pile is massive so I'm not looking forward to that at all. Think I'm going to start by doing an hour now!0 -
Good to hear it know needs to start working on me again. Hopefully when I can walk again Ill be in the mood to get tidying and decluttering.
It is so good to see how well you are doing the holiday is going to be fab.:j0 -
Thanks KP, haven't got a clue how much money I've got at the moment as it's all scattered around. Changed all the coppers this morning and had £13 so I've put that in the tin with the £2 coins so I won't be tempted.
Have managed to list another pile of stuff on e-bay, this it's about 11 items so I'm well ahead of myself there. Have also completed my list apart from some work that I've brought home for work which I'm going to start now. Hopefully get it all done and can enjoy the night down J's.
Hope your starting to feel a bit better and managing to get around. The declutter will wait until your racing around again0 -
Have come home from work today to a cheque off the Halifax for reclaimed PPI on an old credit card. £492.04. Am chuffed to bits. Only had to send them the one letter asking them for it back and no argument. Am well happy with that!0

Ohh what a result. That will boost the holiday pot.:j0

Thanks Diz, paid the cheque in yesterday
Not feeling too good today, got a wicked headache and feeling grouchy. Going to spend the majority of the day having a tidy up. Have already sent DD out to post 3 e-bay sales and have sorted through my paperwork which is an absolute nightmare at the moment.
My house looks so neglected at the moment so today I'm going to give it alittle spruce up before taking my mum out to visit her poorly friend. Just feel like lying on settee all day and sleeping but I know I'll be sorry if I do that. Have also told DD to have another clear out so we can see what we can put on e-bay!
Hope you all have a productive money saving day, catch you later x0 -
Well I've really neglected my diary haven't I????
Just to update where I am. Still currently debt free and find that it's getting easier. Have just returned from a few days down in Cornwall paid for out of my savings. Am down to about £50 now but we had an enjoyable time and it was the first holiday where I wasn't worrying about money.
Am still reclaiming the PPI and am currently waiting for a cheque off Capital one for £49.50 and waiting for replies off every bank and organisation that I've ever dealt with.
Life is still plodding on for me, romance going well and job going even better, I've gone back to work 5 days a week and am enjoying every minute of it and loving having the extra pay. E-Bay very slow at the moment but Amazon ticking along nicely. Think thats about all from me but am going to make a conscious effort to update on here whilst I'm saving for Christmas which is the next big money worry for us all.0 -
