scam or not

Have been contacted by a company saying they can get our money back from Eze group -Regency Shores. How do we know whether this a scam or not.
Company is :
MM MoneyPro MoneyPro <moneyprofessional1@gmail.com>
Part of e-mail posted below
"1. You would expect to receive back no less than the original purchase price as discussed, on a strictly No Win No Fee basis."
2. The procedure will take a maximum of 60 days and only on receipt of refunded monies into your bank will you be asked to pay the companies percentage of 20%

3. The relinquishment of any timeshares or points would then follow to eliminate any further maintenance bills.

Firstly, on what basis are they claiming that you're due a refund ?

But that aside, no reputable company is going to use a Gmail address. And they'd be able to use punctuation correctly : "..will you be asked to pay the companies percentage of 20%"

    It's a scam, 100% guaranteed.

  • Any company that uses a free email account for their business is almost certainly a scam.
  • Almost certain run by a bunch is shysters who originally sold the sort of timeshare deals, they are now claiming to be able to get you out of.

Because they contacted you. If they contact you, it's a scam. End of story.
  • Question

    Are you greedy?
If yes, then play along with them, but put a magazine in your pants to save you from being caned.

OP this is actually a very common scam - in a nutshell these companies reckon that because you were gullible enough to buy the timeshare in the first place, you'll be gullible enough to fall for their crap too.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride
