Ah yeh actually, good point, forgot about that DSR thing, i only learnt about that on here a couple of weeks ago! Well I havn't refused a refund yet, I have only insisted to her that they are not fake, and asked her to get them checked out at a next store for confirmation... Hopefully she does this, and as she is happy with the item, things may be settled at that.. but i guess if she isn't happy then I will just ask her to return via recorded. Thanks x

Don't know if this helps, but next seemed to change the style of the codes they were using a few months ago, from something in the style 'A12345678' to '111-222-x33'. I only spotted this because I'd bought an item which I had to return as faulty, I'd taken a note of the code but when I came to reorder it the code had changed!

Could be for this reason that she thinks they're fake, if you've got 'new style' codes and hers are old style, or vice versa.

it is annoying as the items are genuine, and what do these retailers think are going to happen to the items when they sell them to clearance wholesalers? it was simply a warning to the OP, that she could find herself on the end of a VERO if they hunt for items the day she has them listed, other sellers have very quikly been NARU'd because they did not get their other listngs down quick enough one seller of another line missed all the Xmas trade last year trtying to get reinstated as the VERO team are a nightmare to deal with,

Also don't forget that as a trader any losses incurred by returns are offset against tax.

It's all very confusing isn't it.. there is so much to learn and remember. I guess you learn alot of things over time though. One day I am considering trying a really large Ebay buisness (just need to move house first).. I will have to read up on alot of this stuff beofre I start that!
