    3 complaints :

Complaint 1. Operator could not help me install anti-virus software. On the phone with her for 1 hour.
Complaint 2. Operator could not help me appropriately to switch accounts.
Compliant 3. Sent some letters to change my PIN and my telephone pass code. Caused me confusion so I phoned to query and complain.

Everything done via phone and did not cost me anything for the calls.

Received £50, £25 and £25 for my complaints.

Very easy and as I said before, it pays to complain.

Just remembered, I had another complaint where I got £40. I can't remember what the complaint was about. Who cares ?

Nice and easy for £140-00. I wonder who I am going to target next.

    1. Barclays only supply the software license - it's not their job to install it for you and that's even on their website:

Your contract for downloading, installing and/or using the software is with Kaspersky Lab. Usage of the software is subject to a User's Guide and End User Licence Agreement, which are available for you to read, print or download for the following products:

    Kaspersky Internet Security 2017

You download, install and/or use the software at your own risk and we accept no responsibility or liability for the performance, functionality or suitability of the software for your specifications. All queries regarding the software should be directed to Kaspersky Lab. This Offer is subject to availability and can be withdrawn at any time. We can vary the terms of this Offer at any time without notice.

    2. Account Switching is managed by the CASS, not the banks

    3. You were "confused" on changing a PIN so sought compo for it? Really?

I went to the rewards section on their website. Found Kaspersky. Attempted to upgrade it. Attempted to login to do this. Barclays gave me my customer number (or whatever it was called) but I could not login. Tried numerous times and asked the offshore lady to raise a compliant. I phoned next day to find she had not raised a complaint. The operator looked at my records to see that I had spent a long time talking to her so he offered me £50 compensation.

I sorted it out by removing Kaspersky and re-installing it.

    Nice easy money rotfl::rotfl: !

Not if you phone the bank to do the switch.

With regards confused, if you suddenly get 2 letters from the bank with a new pin and pass code, I queried it by asking why they had sent them to me.

Worked wonders and again nice easy money.:rotfl:

    HTHs.
  • Disgraceful.

They should have told you it's not part of their process.

I think everyone should share examples of where they were able to get easy money by complaining to the banks.:rotfl:
