If you drop your Mobile phone in water or it go around the washer, take out sim, battery etc, and put them all in a bag of dry uncooked rice and leave overnight, it absorbs any leftover moisture.Never play with your Bellybutton your Bum could fall off.:rotfl:0

If you only need cheap reading glasses, get 2 pairs from the pound shop then if one pair gets damages you will have spare parts ready to use.
Also I found a handy tip for washing whites ( eg kids grubby socks ) put a couple of Aspirin in with your detergent.Never play with your Bellybutton your Bum could fall off.:rotfl:0 -
If out for the day and you have not took anything to eat, call at the supermarket for hot chicken, crusty bread and drinks. Much cheaper, healthier and nicer than a pasty from the sandwich shop.
Did this driving through France, found a lovely place to picnic, got strange looks but didn't take any notice. After we had finished eating, discovered we had stuffed ourselves outside the cemetery! Moral, check where you eat! :rotfl::rotfl:
Worse part, if we had driven for another 1/4 mile, we could have eaten in the grounds of a beautiful chateau!A smile costs little but creates much0 -
For anyone who has enamel baths or sinks & got metal shower hose or plug chain that leaves scratchy marks on the enamel try using a pen / ink rubber to get the marks off.Never play with your Bellybutton your Bum could fall off.:rotfl:0

Hi I know there have been threads similar to this but now as we are all worse off, I think we should start a new thread and share our tips.
I am new to this, and you'll probably say I do that anyway, but please can we share some tips.
My 2 tips what I did today were decide to stop throwing dishcloths away, wash with the towels.
When out in the supermarket,or at someones house, use the loo, and take some loo roll home in your pocket.
I feel a real scrooge, we are poor and my son wants to go to university, so I am going to save , save , save.
