There was an article in Stella (Telegraph supplement?) a few weeks ago about The New Victorians - they sounded pretty OS to me. I'm not clever enough to find it online:o. Any super sleuths out there?I have plenty of willpower - it's won't power I need.

I thought the articles made thrift sound like a contrived trendy fad. I don't suppose papers would be interested in writing articles about some of the wonderful women on here who 'do' thrift because it's ingrained in them.
I suppose I should be pleased that at least more people are trying.We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.

mine are -
*use star drops
*if you have mince in you can cook anything
* get an airer
* prepare in dvance
