If your shredder is noisy or squeaky, rub some 3 in 1 oil between two sheets of paper and then put them through.

You can use a pet grooming mitt (the JML ones that have a bumpy rubber pad on the palm) to clean the edges of carpets, it picks up fluff and pet hair that the hoover can't reach0

To remove ink from clothing, (eg ball point pen spillage in shirt pocket) spray stain with cheap hairspray, eg tesco value, and rub in, it kinda turns it back into liquid and will remove it easily.
Larger stains may need to be washed and sprayed again to remove it all but it does work if you have the patience to sit there rubbing it in. Also a good idea to wear gloves to protect your hands.Trying to tidy and clean while the kids are still growing, is like trying to clear snow even though it's still snowing

Cheapo baby wipes are great for cleaning lot of things, greasy cookers, chrome, muddy shoes the only things I wouldn't use them to clean is a baby! Hate to think what they would do to a baby's skin.0
