This is great for getting rid of all the bits of hair on the bathroom floor! Buy the economy pantyliners which are about 40p. The sticky underneath will collect all thehair effortlessly and without the need to use sticky tape.

Ants in your kitchen in the summer? Place cider vinegar in small containers- say egg cups- on shelves and floor. In a short time, the ants will have disappeared for ever!
  • Laddered tights?

Cut the laddered leg off, retaining the panty part and other leg. When this happens to the next pair, do the same again, and then wear the two panty parts and unladdered legs. >>>another pair of tights, and you will be warmer too.
  • If you use paper hankies, buy the man-size ones. After use, use them as toilet paper.
  • Why spend money on water, and clutter the envirenment with plastic bottles? Fill a jug or bottle with cold tap water and place in fridge to stand for an hour. Tastes just as good.

My mother taught me to do this when I was a teen - good tip!

Don't think I'd go to quite that extreme - primarily because tissues cost more than toilet paper. :o

I keep an old mineral bottle filled with tap water in the fridge, also a good way of knowing how much water you have drunk in the day, and keeps it nice and cold!!!!
