Anyone who eats pizza must read this and boycott PIZZA HUT

Hello everyone.

Just a quick post to warn people who may consider purchasing pizza in the future.

2 weeks ago I called my local Pizza Hut and asked for home delivery. 2 hours later I called back and asked how much longer. They said it was very busy because of Halloween and I had to wait. Well to be honest Halloween was 31st October and this was 27th October. I was totally hank marvin and tired so I told them to cancel this.

She said I have to call head office for a refund. Well I was raging.

I called the number - 0800 028 7034 and went through a load of questions and he said I would get a refund.

Well no refund came through. I called tonight and they said I have to send Barclaycard statement to their office before they will refund me.

Can I ask that everyone boycott PIZZA HUT delivery as their customer service is a first class disgrace.

You can ask but I doubt anybody will boycott a country wide chain because YOU had a bad experience with one particular outlet

Gracias mucho. Please please can you try and boycott it. It only takes ONE to let people know about an organisation. Fore warned in fore armed. YUM brands should be SCUM brands.

I eat pizza (occasionally) and I suppose I could boycott Pizza Hut BUT as I've never bought a pizza from there in nearly 50 years, I really don't think they would notice/care.

Keep it simple- just call Barclaycard and ask for a chargeback. Then move on with your life, no one is boycotting Puzza Hut on your say so, no one.

I guess Pizzahut's way of dealing with refunds doesn't sound great.

But I agree with other posters - calling for everyone to boycott this place because of your experience is somewhat OTT.
And if I did happen to be a customer of this place, I wouldn't take any notice of your plea.
It would take a lot more than what you describe to make me boycott anywhere.

Do as suggested in the post above.

This is why when I order a takeaway I pay cash on delivery. Stops things like this happening.

DBSFS, why on earth would I boycott a business because of one stranger's poor experience!

    Cloud cuckoo land.

They just made me want a margherita. Patiently waiting until 12 so i can go and get the lunch time deal. ~9" pizza and a drink for £3.99..... bargain.

Ill pay cash and collect though OP so should avoid the problems you had.

    hmmmmmmm pizza.
