Today there was so much there, the shelves were full and none of the regulars were there. It was very civilized. You still needed to be quick to get the best things. There were about 6 of us there so everyone got a good share. I got the best bargain with the chicken as it was near the end & I was talking to the guy a he finished off and a SA had just found it on the shelf so was in the right place at the right time. They had not done the 2nd last reductions today because they were short staffed so not has much had sold early on.

Its that time of the year again - I am stuck on getting Christmas gifts for my sisters yet again and I have left myself with just over 2 weeks to think of something.

Help desperately needed please, any suggestions very grateful for

In recent years I've given a set of candles in glass jars (from Marks) Bromley soap in a cute Christmas tin and last year it was a set of Body Shop handcreams in various flavors.

On the No list are - cook books, any books really, make up, perfume, kitchen gadgets, garden tools or ornaments, bird feeders, any technology, handbags, foodie type gifts, calender's, slippers, socks, any posh chocolate or alcohol.
It also has to be a physical item - not a gift card or an e voucher

I did wonder about maybe getting some sort of set with a miniature brolly and gloves or a nice scarf - one sister has arthritis so possibly the leather time gloves wont do ...
They both have dogs so maybe a dog pattern

My other idea was maybe some sort of dressing gown set but possibly this might be too bulky - we meet monthly and they use buses so it has to be a portable gift.
But then I thought maybe instead of toweling maybe a silky type dressing gown - I had a look at the Bayliss type sets but there is no way of telling the sizing and neither of them are petite.
And they probably are more the towelling type of dressing gown users - but there again I dont think they traipse around the house in dressing gowns all morning anyway ...

So then its back to the glove, brolley, scarf combination ...

There is no set budget - ideally something that you cant buy in a supermarket but not too high end either, maybe above the Marks level
I was on the popular social media marketplace yesterday looking for danish oil and a lot of handmade wooden items were listed, lovely heart shaped tea light holders and dog lead hangers with the dogs name, lovely gifts and they possibly may deliver and have paypal. I'm going to see if someone can do me some dog lead holders. Worth a look.

X-factor. Putting all 4 through, how stupid is that, might as well just save a week and do the full final tonight if thats the case.
