Muller Singles 68p individual on A online so don't know what the 82p is that you saw.

8 for £4 is just expensive mbuy to me:eek:. Elsewhere I don't go even for 12 for £3:rotfl:. I would go for 10 for £2 offer price, that I have seen before but only on one period ever (in M a while ago). I think it's back to whoopsies:rotfl:.

Mystifies me as to why people stuck on brands such as Heinz:rotfl:.

Why not 'value' ketchups? Are they still not cheaper even after price on Heinz that is being discontinued?

(I think there is something I am missing:rotfl:.)

Apologies, had an even number. Just slit the last four packs open, entered the codes, claimed the tix codes and then sealed them back with tape :o

Havign the week off and supposed to be putting new floor down in DD2 bedroom but after doing a bit of work work, Thorpe Park, all the bargain hunting today, trick or treat today etc it is now Wednesday night and not started yet :( Tomorrow is 1st of month so time to move non-existent money between accounts to meet funding rules and fund reg savers so another few hours lost.

Switched to new gas supplier, cheapest fix 18.9% more expensive than 12 months ago

What do we dislike about the butter icing?
    I think....

I like the bit about shifting the non existant cash from one place to another.
If I concerntrate really hard and dont get distracted I can check all the accounts and its all been paid, everything and be done in an hour.

I had a look a few days ago at last years graph - it goes from the end of November to the next November which I know is odd but we usually have a holiday sometime in November/December so its month one when we get back.
Also we changed the car in November 4 years ago, massive dip in the savings pot so that when we we started with December being month one.

It was disappointing to see that we have not saved any more this year than last year - I think we are now at a plataeu and there wont be the gradual increase year on year as there has been.
I dont think its helped with all of the utility bills increasing. And this years car insurance, servicing and repair bills were massive. Plus increased vets bills and cattery fees when we were away.
Builder has not yet been back to finish the front of the house so he hasnt been paid yet (and he wont be unless he finishes) otherwise we would actually have saved less than last year!
Feels a bit like swimming against the tide, you feel like you are getting somewhere but in reality you are not.

Not a single holiday booked for next year, not even a weekend away

November in half an hours time, miserable thought

All our savings go into pension which is very tax efficient (ie most money for least work) but it does mean that 'available cash' (which is actually the result of an offset mortgage rather than real money) is at best flat and tends to drift down (inversely correlated with how much hoarder DW has added to the 'stuff without a home' category in the house) which is pretty miserable - if they suddenly remove the tax free lump sum when you start drawing your pension then we will be in trouble :(
    I think....

same worry here. Its the tax free lump sum we will need to keep us afloat
The state pension age keeps shifting upwards so I don't even count this into the calculations
Its a difficult tight rope to walk - OH has new bosses so this change over period is fraught but work is all he has ever done. If he retired he would be bored rigid as he has few outside interests.
We have had an empty nest again since May so I am used to having my own space again and OH would get on my nerves just hanging around the house and cluttering the place up :D

Managed to escape from the hospital yesterday so now back home.
Have to sleep on my back for a while  Back was hurting so come downstairs and sat in armchair catching up . Looks like I missed lots. Might be able to do the £5 off Esso thing though or has it expired. Will have a look again.
DD here from Oz land. She was rooting through the cupboards and found some homepride sauces that expired this year march and wants to chuck them out :eek:
Oh well could be worse :D
