There's no pork to be got apparently

    We are porkless

    Sans pork

    Zilch pork:o

I want to do Froctober but unsure I'll be playing by the rules as I think I'll just be spending APG's

Should be a free month for me:D

    I am also porkless :(

Think we should change months and do Frugle-november instead. Think with all the wombles I have spent over last few weeks and next month, I have enough coffee, teabags, tuna and loo rolls for the next 12 months. Because i have been going more to spend the wombles I have found more wombles so have even more to spend. I am a glutton for punishment & can't wait until it is over. My house is so messy as no timeto pout things away, clean up or iron!

You'll know from my previous posts that this was not what I expected. (In my cautiousness and dithering hesitation that often fails to grab opportunites:(.) However, once something started to compare against M, it usually stayed (unless something happened in M, such as a temporary OOS for longer than a week in the collection stores that upset the comparison).

I might not have lost £4 if the M comp. doesn't work - that remains to be seen. However, I didn't want to be unsure again and I think it probably will go £5 vs £5.

(Of course if it now goes vs full price, then I have lost even 10% cheaper due to the SA changing the price of A the £5 that I thought it was going to be. However, if it goes vs full price, then I wouldn't have lost £4 in the first place as the comp. wouldn't have worked. In that case, I will have lost £2 gift card, plus whatever the comp. from £7 A would have added - or lost.)

    Happy Birthday Poppy.

so how have you lost out, either way the net price is £4.50 whether you paid £7 or £5
    youve gained a gc

    Vs T
1x ASDA No Added Sugar Lime Cordial (1l) £0.56 N/A:(

This was on its last day yesterday, as it compared 56p vs 40p. OOS on t.com and msm changed to "---" should have been a clue enough.

However the apples still work and haven't changed to full price yet.
1x ASDA Farm Stores Apples (Colour and Variety may vary) (500g) £0.75 £0.47

Looks like they have another week and bit in T, therefore another few days on APG.

Net price is £5. It failed to appear. Could have been because the SA 'helpfully' changed the price to the £5 SEL price for me, even though the BC they used was the same as the product scanning at £7.

I failed to get a GC, that is the whole point I was making as I checked the price at the till so avoided being overcharged:( rather than letting it go through at £7 and being able to claim the overcharge and a GC from CS. Because the price differed to what I expected, I was unsure it was the right comparable item against M. It then failed to appear on me anyway:(. Net price, for my non-appearance, £5 with no GC able to be got as I wasn't overcharged.

On further investigation now on a.com:

Still staying £5 rollback on a.com (and therefore msm), but seems to be scanning instore today at £7. Does seem to be the SA's changing the price, even though to match a.com's rollback price, has made the system lose it on my shop:(. May therefore be available for £7vs £5 M and £2 GC if SEL in your A says £5, if you don't cause the SA to mess with the £7 till price. Otherwise, I have bought a different BC to the one the product on a.com relates - does seem to be same item, now I am unsure:rotfl: - BC on my £7 scanning one ends 569290. I have no idea if two versions exist, just my confusion as it's on a.com but hasn't appeared on my comp. - but probably there's only one version of "E45 Dermatological Moisturising Lotion 500ml" and the non-appear as a result of what the SA did on my shop in 'helpfully' having me pay the SEL price.

According to hukd Sainsbugs double up starts 29th Oct. x

Thanks for that, think I’m gonna look to get a new iron for hubby, and some new bedding.
I had a quick look the other day while I was as in at fitted sheets, couldn’t see any deep ones more than 30cm. Will have another look, if not I’ll just get those elsewhere.

    Good morning all

Happy birthday to our lovely Poppy.

Can I ask if anyone has been to Alvarston Hall, Warner Leisure Hotel, or similar in the group

I am looking for a few days away next month and its a choice of this or the seaside I love the waves crashing along the seafront DH does not He would however love the Motown music on offer at the end of the month and I could suggest Cheshire Oaks for shopping :D

    Enjoy your day

Hi mrsmac, Alvaston Hall is in mhoc's territory so she may be able to give you more info. Cheshire Oaks is well worth a visit though :)

    Happy birthday Poppy _party_
