Good morning all, another warm one here. Strange how it now feels warm rather than unbearably hot, but is the same temperature. The human body can adapt to (almost) anything
We have a couple of fence panels to replace today, also need to paint the post with something, we appear to have woodworm in the post and the two fences attached to it
I know I should paint the fences, but there are plants wondering all over them, and last time I painted the fences (a good few years ago) one of the neighbourhood kids came along and climbed on our wall and leant against the fence (in spite of being told not to) and her mum was one of these that believed every word her darling daughter said (under 10 at the time) and got very upset when I refused to pay to replace the clothes. She got very upset when I told her that she should not be playing there anyway, it is an access road to our garages, she told my son he could not play with her son any more. Well, my son said it didn't really matter as he was the only one to play with her son so it was her son that suffered. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I'm going cheese and crisps. I would rather they did the meaty bag of crisps on offer, but those ones last us a while. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I tried those nude shoes on last week in my size....they were so comfy. I got all hot and bothered as the place was crammed and ended up not buying anything:oTo do is to be. Rousseau

Glad I'm not in Madrid in this heatwave
You'd be fine in your pink unicorn knickers:D
Moving a compost heap in a heatwave must be the worst of gardening jobs:o

I have lots of cherry tomatoes but what an experience getting them was. I have never seen anything like it. Was late from work & called at the HP A for diesel then popped in to see if there were any woopsies as was about the right time. I got talking to a couple of regulars I know and they said they had taken woopsies out the back for pricing. They brought them back and it was like a massive rugby scrum. There were 4 big trays of cherry toms so I got quite a few of those but everything else disappeared in seconds. I felt sorry for the assistant trying to put the trays back onto the shelves.
Think I will stick to our locals in future.
That's shocking Elaine. If it was like that here I wouldn't bother:o
Should be a good wombling day folks.
First weekend pay day, warm weather, some good comparisons and a bit of a breeze....what more could a girl want:DTo do is to be. Rousseau

Loads of cheap woopsies that you want and no-one else there and a couple of amazing glitches - we need beer, dried fruit and coffee glitch fairy if you are listening.0
