One of the long-term side effects of my chemotherapy has been peripheral neuropathy - I get pain in my feet/toes as if they are freezing cold, when they are in fact warm to the touch.
This has been getting increasingly worse, and I didn't want to take another chemical in my body - which would "dampen" my whole nervous system.
So my GP prescribed a cream made from hot chilli peppers to try.
I rubbed the cream on my feet and toes as directed, but didn't feel any difference.

After a few hours I went out shopping to Asda, and then it hit me - OMG my feet were on fire! :o

I literally had to "hot foot" it around Asda at double speed - it was agonising :o

As soon as I got home, I had to immediately put my feet in a bucket of cold water - much to the amusement of my family :o

I'm frightened to try the cream again :(

I would hate having that cold feet feeling JTS:o

I just have "common or garden" cold feet permanently and it's horrible.

It sounds as if you may have found a solution though...try less next time....even better shove a chorizo and half an onion down your socks and your half way to dinner prep:rotfl:

Can't find the post to quote about someone's statement showing a £50 transaction in McColl, but I am wondering whether it is a gas or electric top up, or even a bill payment of some sort, as our local McColls all have PayPoint available at the till.

I heard this on the car radio while we were out car hunting and had an uncontrollable desire to log in and stand hand in hand with my Elite friends...the sort of thing you do in times of national catastrophe :D

    Bloomin heck:o

I'm wondering if it's more a case of attempting to take back market share from Lidl and Aldi......Repositioning both brands so to speak.

Anyway it put me off me lunch:o

As long as Asda dont bring their trouty staff !

I find S ok with mocs, A was a nightmare because of their staff and HQ attitude, hence why I rarely go there now.
So when Sainsburys and Asda merge are they going to call themselves Sada?!

    Oh wait....

Think the elite need to get that copyrighted pretty quickly :rotfl:

I've had some funny thoughts about all of this.

Can you imagine the A staff chasing us off the forecourt when we put in 6 x £10 in the Swipe and Win promotion shops without moving the car:rotfl:

I thought about the ice cream glitch last weekend when I ran around S getting coupons at the till and going back to get free ice cream....A would have set the dogs on us:rotfl::rotfl:

Exactly why Wal-Mart would want them. Gives more of a stranglehold on the the sector by increasing their market.
Makes sense for them to do it, however they would not bring the two companies together, but operate as fully separate entities.

The concern is that there may be a new pair of eyes on promotions etc and APG might come under scrutiny:o

    Really hope not:o

Yes, they'll be watching you even closer ;)

Think I read that even though they would be kept separate, the term 'one operation' was used to bring customer loyalty in line with each other....Nectar points at A then ;)
