Just wondering if this is one of those fake news things that does the rounds.
Cant see this happening, it would be like combing apples and pears - completely different species

    Different species? Like S and N3tto ...

It may not happen due to competition rules, but it will be correct as Sky wouldn't broadcast news of this sort without it being reliable. It can impact stockmarkets, so it will likely be revealed to the market on Monday if not before - I believe news providers can get in trouble for market manipulation with certain sorts of news, so are more careful these days?

Right Llovelies I need to get up & drag this foot down to town to SD

The AFib booklet I ordered from British Heart Foundation arrived this morning for Fourp, he is refusing to read it :(
    But I will

As long as one of you reads it.
But if he refuses to read it then there is no use forcing him to.

With my H&B order yesterday I got ginger gems for OH. I realised this morning that he eat the entire 175g bag last night which quite clearly says 30% sugar on the front.
He says that's fine as he hardly eat anything yesterday until dinner time so eating about 600 kcal in ginger gems of which 30% was sugar was acceptable. He also only had one square of chocolate afterwards so that does not count either.
And his bloods came back fine at his annual health check (so he does not need to think about it for another year at least.
And anyway its all in the luck of the draw like smoking and getting cancer.
And he said I should put my own house in order first - no I had no ginger.

No use talking to them unless they want to hear.

Tickler extra mature 350g is £3.50 in S, £2 on CoS or CS.

Shame they didn't do this st T where it is £2.50, but £1.50 net for 350g of nice cheese isn't bad :).

Exactly why Wal-Mart would want them. Gives more of a stranglehold on the the sector by increasing their market.
Makes sense for them to do it, however they would not bring the two companies together, but operate as fully separate entities.

    Thanks Dizzy Ditzy :A

Yes, that's the cream - I was just told to put it on 3-4 times a day, nothing about washing off after a certain time :o

I'll give it a try using your advice thank you :A

I'll also put on my nitrile rubber gloves to apply it :o

Good thinking batman :D you could use a cotton ball to apply too if you don't have gloves handy :)

Confirmed by S now so not a rumour any longer. Analysts are saying they would keep both brands running as they appeal to different markets, but it would be a good vehicle to use A to further roll out Arg0s.

Hypothetical question ... if you receive cashback for a transaction that you either didn't complete, or it was cancelled, can you keep it? After all, they confirm transactions weeks later, before they pay, and you have no control over whether they pay or not.

If a retailer/service provider was offering a giftcard/cheque for signing up, and they sent that to you after you had cancelled, can you keep it? Their system is set up to verify the transaction before they send it, so assume their system believes you are entitled to it ...

And in either case, can they reclaim it?

    Hypothetical answers welcomed ...

    Thanks

I may have *hypothetically* have had a small amount of cashback after playing with a list in mysupermarket, and never putting the purchase through. I can't see them being able to reclaim it, I would not imagine they would go through paid out cashback to double check - the workload would surely be horiffic!

    Evening Folks,

Random question........do you think there is a website which collects info on Ebayers who give refunds really easily?

I just seem to have a spate of people asking for refunds, and it seems like it is more than a coincidence.

I think I am being too nice, giving a refund and suggesting they dispose of the item or donate it, rather than return it to me.

The last two grumbles, I have asked them to return the item, and heard no more.......:( hmmmmmmm.
