Sorry to disappoint, but it is literally a cage for the birds we are getting next week :rotfl::rotfl:

    Well done :D

I've got very good at picking out heavier items, I got 500 grams of courgettes that weighed 787 grams :D It feels like a real win doesn't it :D

    It does, yes. :D

If the packs had been sold solely by weight there would have only been 3 slices in there, I imagine, but, as it was a 5 slice pack, they have no choice but to pack them in 5s even where the slices are thicker. Two of these slices will do a roast beef dinner with a yorkshire pud. Happy days. :D

I've had similar wins with bacon at A's, with their packs of 8 thick cut slices.

You do know that kerrygold £1.90 is on TCB with 50p cashback
Or Presidents unsalted £2 on GJ - with 50p cashback - Tesco, Waitrose or Sainsburys

OK, not much cheaper even after cashback and it depends on your taste but these make a nice change.

If I go into Aldi I end up with a trolley load so I've been avoiding it until I really really needed to go. At least if I get the Presidents butter from Waitrose I will spend £4 at the most (before MOCs) to get free coffee and newspapers :)

I only do COS at present. Must investigate these others. Butter was 1.45 today.

Got 3 lemons at Co-op for 12p, rtc.

re Shopmium - PM me if you need a start off - you get a free Nutella jar. I've been using it for nearly 2 years and despite having a non co-operative Sainsburys I've had £185 back - mostly freebies.

    Thank you everyone :A

Thank you mhoc :A yes my DS has his first year Uni exams May/June and DD has her end of year school exams June.

The cruise is booked for August, I've even sorted the travel insurance out - though it was eye-watering expensive after all the medical screening questions  At least I went through Quidco.

Need to sort Hotel with parking for Heathrow.

Thank you HILLBERN :A Yes indeed about my eyes, I don't want to miss the gangplank

Wish it would stop raining - I have a fence to paint :)
Hi which insurance did you go with in the end. I've been getting quotes too as going to far east next month and OH has severe COPD and I have history of BC, hip replacement, diabetes
There was offer on either TCB or quidco for 30% off Saga. But when I got a quote it was £900+
Went through one of the insurance comparison site and Saga came top with £550. Same insurance. So I went with the insruance comparison site as at least I have the "cashback" already, whereas would've had to wait for TCB/quidco .

Also, where did you get your fence paint. Was it a bargain somewhere :D

I am very impressed with the £2 bras - all from Debenhams were they? Did you find them by just trawling through the website?

I would not mind a quick trip to Birmingham to do a Debenhams click and collect - if c&c is free?
I had a drastic sort out if bras over the last few months - most of my collection went into cloth recycling or the newer ones went to the charity shop - finally resigned to my chest never being the shape it was ever again.
So before we went away in March I really needed to restock as I had just one everyday bra! I found 2 in Sainsburys Tu sale half price for £6 - t shirt bras flesh coloured right size and fit. THe only snag is these are full coverage so under lower cut summer tops and dresses they peek out over the neckline! so the search for skimpier lbras is on :)
Sorry mhoc, I didn't write that too well, I bought 4 bras in Asda that cost the same as one would have done in Debenhams.

    from hukd

i cleared my store when they were £2.70 ish

I saw them in my local yesterday for £2 but I decided not to buy any as I don't normally drink it so it wouldn't be very money saving! Although later the thought did cross my mind that I could have split them up and sold them on in the office as it'd be a lot cheaper than the vending machines which seem very popular!

Thanks to the posters about Costa today, I would!!!8217;ve missed that.

I can confirm you can use more than one Wonton QR code in one transaction.
    I bought a muffin @ £1.65 and large latte at £2.95.

Both Wonton codes scanned (diff handsets)... so free! :)

30p left on Wonton gift code.
