Hi I did my 2nd targetted shop to generate a APG - it feels a little scary that I'll spend more and the vouchers won't work!

I had points to go on from 3 previous receipts so I handed over my receipts and the chap added them on but then he screwed them all up. I said I wanted them back but he said he could not give them back to me after I'd had points added on - annoyed now I should have said I needed them to fill in an expenses form.

Actually it is quite an impressive total for Shopimium - mostly freebies but a few things with 60% off. We have tried some quite unusual things along the way so its worth doing just for that.
They seem to have quite a few items that are sainsburys only and I think we live in a Sainsburys black hole. If our enormous store had all of the shopimum freebies I think my total would be nearly double. Our tiny waitrose has a better range.

There was offer on either TCB or quidco for 30% off Saga. But when I got a quote it was £900+
Went through one of the insurance comparison site and Saga came top with £550. Same insurance. So I went with the insruance comparison site as at least I have the "cashback" already, whereas would've had to wait for TCB/quidco .

Also, where did you get your fence paint. Was it a bargain somewhere

I use GoodtoGOinsurance - they are on TCB and have always paid out cuickly. They specialise in insurance to cover various medical conditions (DH has prostate cancer amongst other things). Might be worth looking at for the future - prices are fair and they do cover cruises (some companies do not).

Saga insurance is cheap and really good for medical conditions - but only when you are going on holiday with Saga. If you want cover for holidays/trips booked elsewhere, they use a different insurer and they are REALLY pricy.
