Oh and I bought two bits of reduced jewellery for just over the £5 , the bracelets ok but the earrings  they were rather large shall we say like gypsies lol

. They are sleepers with some nice small stones in but I thought they d be small but they are the size of ( and I'm trying to think of a comparison lol) they are about 1 and a half inches whereas I thought they d be about half an inch.

Very glad that the test results have worked out so well - we were all rooting for you and positive thought is very powerful

Are any of your gang doing exams in May - I used to dread the after Easter weeks as there was always exams in May, it was like a dark cloud approaching.

But once exams are out of the way get your cruise booked - somewhere with sunshine and nice small ports that are close to towns and lots of yummy little restaurants and bars.

This time last year we had a fabulous week long cruise around Denmark - booked very short notice. Its an entire summer before we go away again ...

Thank you mhoc :A yes my DS has his first year Uni exams May/June and DD has her end of year school exams June.

The cruise is booked for August, I've even sorted the travel insurance out - though it was eye-watering expensive after all the medical screening questions  At least I went through Quidco.

Need to sort Hotel with parking for Heathrow.

I am impressed that you have sorted out your travel insurance so quickly - I've seen people air lifted off ships a couple of times and it sticks in your head how important it is.
Despite all of the advice I gave her my sister didn't do her travel insurnace until 2 weeks before they went (her OH had had an op the previous year and she had had hip replacement and breast cancer )- OMG, you just cant tell some people how crucial it is .
As for the cost - well some times you have to throw caution to the wind and after all its only money.
You get to take your girls away on holiday and to spent some fun time with them - no school, no uni, no pressure, just sunshine and nice food - what can be better.

We had a family cruise - it was at a crux point for all three of ours so it was very memorable. Our three are now all over the country and its only odd days like Christmas we have them all in one place so that holiday was the best ever.
