Very glad that the test results have worked out so well - we were all rooting for you and positive thought is very powerful

Are any of your gang doing exams in May - I used to dread the after Easter weeks as there was always exams in May, it was like a dark cloud approaching.

But once exams are out of the way get your cruise booked - somewhere with sunshine and nice small ports that are close to towns and lots of yummy little restaurants and bars.

This time last year we had a fabulous week long cruise around Denmark - booked very short notice. Its an entire summer before we go away again ...

    Good morning lovely peoples

tweets :A I'm so sorry to hear about your Mam :( I know how stressful and draining it will be on yourself as I went through similar with mine. Hoping for a speedy full recovery, and take care of yourself :A

Sarah :A - So pleased to hear your Dad is feeling better, but so sorry to hear your OH needs yet another op :( sincerely hope it will be the last :A

My blood results have come through from last weeks Oncology appointment - I thought I had mis-heard, but after telling me 3 times, I am happy to say that they are the best since my diagnosis :j:j:j

So thank you Elite :A for your kind words and good wishes, they have had an effect and I am most grateful :)

I was told to " Go out and have the best Summer ever" So the recent scan and blood results have given me the confidence to book a lovely family cruise :)

I don't normally find wombles - but yesterday I was just about to get a trolley, at Sainsburys, when I felt I had stood on something. I looked down to find I was standing on a whole cucumber! I can't understand how I missed seeing it before standing on it :( A shame really as I need one for the Vietnamese fish salad I'm making for dinner :o

Hope everyone has a lovely day :A

I think I have now caught up on all the news

tweets oh dear! poor mum, but you never know she may like being in her new home ..is staying there an option?- she would forever be asking you to donate prizes for the bingo sessions....
life doesn't get any easier does it Sarah, but I think we are able to cope better, as you obviously do...by sharing with your elite family:)
pleased sarah you finally got your wages from sd, after all the bargains you have shared with us...but be careful don't jeopardise your job for us
cjj- I have no idea, but im sure googling will throw up some advice..and good luck, getting an interview is such an achievement with so many candidates after the same job...and look how far you have come...it wasn't so long ago when we were all boosting your confidence for your last/first job interview in years:)
gosh there are so many I could comment on, but time has got the better of me, housework is calling...
but Di I loved your post this morning, that made me chuckle :)
  • You don't even need to screenshot the Wuntu Costa codes, you can just press 'use now', then go back to the main screen, and you'll still be able to go back to the code later on. Although sometimes a screenshot is better as I have no phone signal in my local Costa!

No badge?..but my DIL works for the YHA where they had a water stop but she wasn't actually working there on Sunday so they were more like onlookers this year, and its more difficult when they have 2 toddlers in tow... Ill have to ask if they got a badge on previous years when they helped out.

I just wondered as we usually got an officials medal but nothing this year. Think some volunteers got a pin badge.
Oh the joys of being a grandma! I have one down here I see most days and look after 2 afternoons and one in London I hardly see.
