They were so good until now, their only problem is they were taking such a small amount for eight out of the twelve months and despite my emails they didnt increase until october....Its IRESA, cheap as chips but just rubbish customer service grrr xxx
Surely, if you knew they were taking peanuts, you would have put a decent amount of money a side each month to cover the deficit. You knew a big bill would be coming..... eventually. Be prepared and all that.Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Hillbern posted this earlier in Techies lair. Rather a brusque reply and no help. I hope she doesn't mind me bringing it here to see if any of the lovely Elite can help her. Thank you xx
don't know if anyone has any ideas? I have an hp laptop, probably 10 years old...the screen has gone black, earlier today I could put in my password then I was okay for about an hour, but now I turn laptop on and I have a black screen and that's it...
is it time to replace or is there anything I can do to put life in the little old lady ?
That's exactly what happened to my old laptop (nine years old)
I tried the turning off and on, dropping the battery out, trying it without the battery, pressing certain keys (from google search) etc with no joy.
I believe there is a way of retrieving saved info from the hard drive but I am not techie enough to know how.
Perhaps see what a computer shop would charge to retrieve anything you need.

For underwater breathing.
Because without them, fake-fingernail manufacturers would have a hard time trying to explain what their product is supposed to be..
None of these.
