So what did you mean by globalisation?
And I am sure it was very interesting... In it's own way.
Ahem: What is globalisation?
A concept applied in many social sciences, globalisation is a phenomenon that most can understand, but few accurately define. As Simon Reich states, ‘despite the breadth with which the term has been applied, the meaning of ‘globalisation’ remains so elusive as to defy definition … often distinguished more by what it is not, rather than what it is.’[1] Reich groups existing definitions by the emphasis they place upon globalisation as an economic condition, a technical and social revolution, an historical epoch, and as a hemogenisation of values internationally to those of the USA. He concludes that whilst each emphasises a different facet, each has been dubbed the ‘race to the bottom’. This essay will consider globalisation as being primarily a socio-economic and socio-political phenomenon.

It's own way? Um, yeah, maybe. A very specialised, barely discernable way, methinks.

Poor OH's a west country boy, but that's growing on me!
I'm impressed at the definition! Although it had the same affect as some of my tragic theory... in one ear and out the other!Current debt - £16,300

ooh yeah greggs the bakers. I can't stand pastry and I still find myself hankering for it after those ads.
Uh, normal english. I'm not sure myself. The whole point of a dissertation is to fling big words about and write long sentences. The idea is that whoever marks it will just assume you know what you're talking about without reading it properly.
Basically it was about trade unions in what's left of the steel industry.
When I have kids I'm totally going for that caring, strong immune system route!0
