Just had a bit of a shock - came home to do an afternoon of cleaning-up after Max & Paddy, and found that our shiny new double glazed front door is white....when it should be oak

Only redeeming factor is that I have found 2 double glazing fitters who can use a hoover & clean windows - I know coz i saw them! :D

that's the [strike]excuse[/strike] valid reason I have for not doing the housework.. I can't see the girls under all the filth but I'm sure they're under there somewhere...

Or could the lack of housework be down to the fact that as a caring mother you want your girls not to devolop dust allergies? Which would also explain why you needed a kitten- to avoid them devoloping allergies to fur:D

One of my exs mothers was so clean that both of her sons immune systems didnt devolop properly (she used to clingfilm the mattress and they only had toys she could bleach before they played with them:eek: )They were allergic to just about everything dust, eggs, nuts, fur......

Good to see a man after my own heart. I don't even like the little ones and can't understand why someone would want to keep one as a pet!!

Although our cat will eat little spiders, but not the big one, they wriggle in his month to much!

Lenny - we've been having double glazing fitted this week & we have had the Max & Paddy (of Phoenix Nights?) of the double glazing world in residence....very nice chaps, handy with a hoover & windolene but with the same mannerisms & lovely broad Lancs accents!

Fingers and eyes crossed for you, IA! Nothing much going on here. At work, but we're finished for the week so just idly wasting time. Treated myself to healthy lunch and a smoothie. Am full of wholewheat noodles, black sesame seeds, cucumber, peppers and coriander. And mango smoothie. x
